  i googled that name and found a trust fund that is named after her.

  i also found the tax returns for 2005,2004,2003 for that fund.

  the riley trust funds largest revenue is oil and gas royalties and in 2005 over 3 million dollars of oil and gas royalties flowed into the riley trust fund.

  So is H M Riley the late H M Riley? and if so why did she want to give her assets to the WTS??. Was she a JW??? or related to JWs??

  Is it possible the WTS has used H M Riley beyond her express wishes and used her unfortunate demise as an opportunity to launder oil and gas revenues throught her trust fund??

  Further, someone has control over the oil and gas royaties . WHO ARE THE LAND OWNERS from which the oil and gas comes from??

  Are these land owners related to the WTS in any way??

The Riley trust funds largest revenue is oil and gas royalties and in 2005 over 3 million dollars of oil and gas royalties flowed into the Riley trust fund. The Riley trust fund is a charitable organization as it supports a church namely the WATCHTOWER BIBLE AND TRACT SOCIETY. When I read these tax returns my suspicions were aroused. The Riley Trust fund recieves oil and gas royaties and gives the whole amount to the WTS as a charitable contribution. Yet the Riley trust fund claims to have no personal relationship with the WTS whatsoever. I find that hard to believe as this looks like tax evasion to me. So has anyone else noticed that??

  this is not so much a question as it is to make sure that i am thinking correctly.

  the witnesses believe that 144,000 would rule as kings and priests in heaven and the end would not come until all of the 144,000 were in heaven, correct?

  so, if this were the case and the witnesses kept a census of how many partook each year and are still doing that today, that means that back in the early 1900s they must of known that all 144,000 were not yet in heaven.

  the witchtower babble and trick society says that their master returned in 1918 inspected his followers and appointed the fds.. this master being jesus, and quotes malachi 3:1-5 as proof.. now in wt of august august 1, 2007 p10.

  " the refining [of the annointed class] took place in 1918 when jehovah sat as a refiner and cleanser in his spiritual temple.".

  after teaching that the messenger who clears "the way before me" is john the baptist, now they say these verses refer not to christ but jehovah.

  a coworker and friend whose family are jw went to the district convention with his jw wife and kids.. he said that about the only thing he got out of friday's session was this hilarious statement in the title.. here's the story-.

  the speaker says, .

  New Aust Census - other Christians growing, JWs falling

  very interesting to see that the number of people admitting to being jehovah's witnesses has fallen over the last 10 years by 3%, whilst baptists have grown by 7% and mormons by 18%.

  looks like jws are not the only ones preaching afterall.. .

  another thread discussed how people are encouraged in annual wt articles, service meeting parts, and visits from elders when they are elderly and dying, to consider leaving some or all of their property to the society.

  here's proof that they profit handsomely from this activity.

  If you look at page 15 of that PDF document you will find that the WTS made over 3 million dollars (per year)on oil and gas royalties. This blew my mind!!. I did not know they owned oil wells(Or a least the infrastructure to produce oil and gas).

  The oil and gas royalties are approx 50% of the WTS total annual revenue (could be wrong??) and it looks like they pay no tax on those royalties. Is the WTS really a bunch of oil tycoons falsely portrayed as a religious organization?. What does oil and gas have to do with the preaching work. I always thought the WTS was a publishing company not a refinery. The WTS must own land that is producing oil to receive royalties don't they ??
