  they were all married less than two years.

  is this just a local thing or are others seeing it in their neck of the woods?

  i have a question about my religion.

  when people turn apostate, why do they seem kinda... weird.

  they turn back to false teachings and their bible knowledge even proves that.

  The red cross and the salvations army are apostate (according to JW definition) because they never believed the bull crap doctrines about the door being closed in 1935, yet the red cross and salvation army has soup kitchens which the WTS does not

  Is "the Great Tribulation" now interchangeable with "Armageddon"?

  it seems that in the latest editions of the wt "the great tribulation" is being referred to as something that only the witnesses will survive.

  Good catch!! That is strange wording for sure - no mention of armageddon. Could this be a shift away from the old doctrines of Rutherford and Franz?? Are there new tower controllers in bethel . Is this a jest by the writing dept?. Are the writing dept trying to shift the JW doctrine towards utter collapse?

  Just when you think you've got these file hosting services figured out they change their format. Junction Guy, the immediate pic you see is just a preview. You can make it larger if you wish. (there is bar at the top with choices small,medium ,large) You can also download this file to your computer. (look for the DOWNLOAD IMAGE button) I scanned it at 300 DPI , it is a jpeg, since text does not require being saved as a TIFF.

  i have recently been noticing my mother's and other relatives' increased fervent and frantic activity in the wt society.. i wondered why they are becoming so fanatical and decided to take an indepth look at the latest watchtowers.. i believe there is a very worrying trend in the wt society now for a apocalyptic zeal that borders on fanaticism and now the wt is tightening the screws with its demand for 'cultic obedience.'.

  in the past i wondered whether another 'jonestown,' or similar scenario, was possible, but though the wt may well not ask its members to take their own lives i wonder what the wtbts will ask them to do.. notice these quotes from the december 15th watchtower for 2007:.

  Love this thread.. YES THE FEAR MONGERS ARE RAMPING UP THE PROPAGANDA!! If you all read my posts about the triangle you will see that the WTS is inserting subliminal suggestions by using visual cues into the WT magazines. I tell you that the triangle has been found in at least 3 WT publications. One in the Live forever book, one in the July 15-07 WT study article "Have you sinned against the holy spirit" http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/140781/1.ashx

  and the other in the Jan 15-08 kool-aid edition. It is a well known fact that sinning against the holy spirit is the JWs WORSE fear. That is why I think the subliminal triangle ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/145139/1.ashx ) was inserted into the July 15-07 study article. IT IS A SUBLIMINAL TIME BOMB that will go off when the JWs read the Jan 15-08 WT. !!! The time bomb is set to go off in exactly 6 months counting from July 15-07

  STOP THE MADNESS....where is this board going?

  i've only posted since feb 07..but i have lurked for several years prior and there was usually something interesting on the board.

  as i was reading the active topics list this morning, only a couple things jumped out at me as interesting...its been this way since the dgate and tgate incidents.... i was discussing this with a long time poster via im yesterday....does it seem to anyone else that so many of the topics are ...i dont know....odd...or different than they used to be...and i dont mean that in a good way.. i miss the newbies coming on and telling us their stories.... i miss the long time posters updating us on their lives post-borg... i guess with the recent uproar, the lurkers are hesitant to become newbies (cant say as i blame them now...we probably scared them off , and maybe the vets are just as hesitant...after all, someone went 2 years with their fraud/hoax...who will believe anyone else now?

  i hope this is just a temporary cycle on this board..i have read many many posts from the archives...i hope one day soon we can get back to a happy medium here.. by the way, i like the fluff threads, but these seem to be more and more sex related (maybe that word will wake someone)... yet they get all the attention....and then someone goes too far and it gets locked down by a mod and the poster restricted......(i am not a prude...just sometimes enough is enough).
