Hey dont get me wrong I love the US. Its my home. That dosent mean that I should bury my head in the sand.

Just making some observations of the cause and effect as to why things are the way they are in this world we live in. I didnt mean to offend anyone.Sounds like you dont like to hear anything critical and that you take offense to it. But put yourself in the receiving end of the bully's club for a moment how do you think they feel. That is why there is so much immigration, leagal and illegal to this country.

It is getting harder and harder to live in those places. So you see many people would rather live in

the home of the one holding the club. These people are just trying to work for some of the money that has been ravaged from their lands.

Our corporations dont pay them much over there.

Its wonderful living here I love it .

Containment is the rhetoric we've been sold about the cold war. Whatever nasty things they did were in their immediate surrounding Eastern Europe, Afhghanistan, or within its borders. They dont have military stations all around the world. They don't have intervention forces positioned all over the world like we do. That rhetoric is what fuled the arms race under the pretense of having to "defend ourselves" so it justified all the military spending. The reason for our decisions on "containing" the Soviet Union through military spending and arms build up had mainly to do with domestic economic reason than anything ealse.

The N.S.C.,68 ( National Security Council Memorandum 68) The major cold war document clearly states that without military spending, there's going to be an economic decline both in the US and world wide-- so it calls for vast increase in military spending in the US., in addition to breaking up the Soviet Union.

The Marshal Plan plan which was desinged mainly as an export promotion operation for American businesses not as "the nobelest effort in history" and all that, had failed. We hadnt reconstructed the industrial powers we needed as allies or and hadnt reconstructed the markets we needed for exports.

Can the US police the whole world?

even if the united states is the only superpower, can it really make war with iraq, and tackle north korea, and keep an eye on china, and other countries at the same time?

why does the us always have to take care of troubled spots all over the world by itself?

why can't japan and south korea take care of the north korean crisis?

is potentialy a very rich country with its natural resources. It has been under the Western system of subordination. Northeaste Brazil population has been so undernourished that Brazilian medical reaserchers now identify the population as a new species with about 40% the brain the size of humans.Due to the generations of profound malnutrition.

The US is a capitalist country whose main agenda is to make money for the biggest and wealthies corporations in the US. They do this by intervening and contrubuting to the dismantleing of 3rd world countries. By removing rulers who will not cooperate with the US agenda and substituting ones who will help siphon the riches of those countries to benefit the corporations. It is not to the best intrest of the US that theses governments become independent and democratic. The US is against democracy. They like to have these countries ruled by some puppet thug who will follow US agenda for that country. If these thugs vary from the layed out US agenda they are removed from power by means of guerrila ware fare and mercenaries.

The US uses its military power to do whaterver they want. They are above the Law.

The US is the only country convicted by the World Court of "unlawful use of force" and illegal economic warfare. (1986 Nicaragua)

They were ordered to stop by the UN . The US just shrugged it off and the week after Congress increased aid to the contras by another $100,000,000.00.

We never hear any of this because we ( US citizens ) are not of the world. The 3rd world that is.

We are kept so busy with TV sit coms, commercials and news reports that only report news that dont allow us to see what is really happening outside. That is why we are so oblivious as to why other countries resent us.

The rest of the world sees us as the Biggest terroist of all. A big spoiled bully.

Interesting Subject

I just had to put my sweet dog to sleep. It was a difficult decision.
My wife and I love her very much. We whish she could tell us how miserable she felt. Her right leg was paralized and couldnt stand any more. She looked very sad. We wished she could tell us how she felt. Our best judgment told us to put her out of her misery. A very tough decision. Our love for her and not our selfish decision to spare ourselves the pain of having her still around just to please us, moved us to go ahead with it.

If someone who is in terrible pain can communicate this,when that person has no hope for their situation to improve, I believe the loving thing to do is to allow them to stop their suffering.

Another point is that Kevorkian is being punished for allowing a person who out of their own pain want to put a stop to thier suffering when their is no hope to improve on the situation. The Watchtower society is responsible for persuading people to not get help(blood transfusions) and choose death when there is hope for improving the situation. How many deaths could have been saved if the watchtower had allowed for a blood transfusion. Im sure the numbers tuly "tower" over those of Kevorkians. More deaths are caused by this no blood stance than all the deaths cause by Jim Jones, Heavens Gate, and David Koresh all put together.
Does Kevorkian have to start his own religion so that he may be protected from prosecution?

Go figure. ????

Fathers day

i would like to wish my father felix a very first happy fathers day.. i have never given him a fathers day wish, card, hug or gift in my 44 yrs of life.

and this year i will make a change and give him my expression of love in the way i have been forbidden in all these yrs.

i will let him know that i always love him even on fathers day.
