we were both witnesses at one point, i left ten year ago and my sister left in 2005. my mother remains as the only witness left in my immediate family.

while my sister and i make good money, with our careers and duel income in marriage, we don't talk about it much.

I never heard of anyone getting DF'd for being greedy or materialistic. These are the attributes my own mother had. She was my teacher in that area and I vowed to myself I would never revolve around those things. The materialistic people in my Congregation always had me wondering, how are they going to handle the time period of being cutoff from buying, selling, or trading?

wow this is sad..i have been to this small college town and when i was visiting i always got warm looks and friendly smiles..got the feeling most were liberal minded people there and looked to be very gay friendly also but this was back in '97 hope things have not changed. my heart goes out to all involved.
