  Wife Equates Having A Good Marriage With Being "Spiritual"

  so i've noticed lately that my wife seems to think that in order to have a good marriage both people must be "spiritual".

  she thinks being close as a family is all about family worship night, field service and praying together.

  i know where these ideas are coming from but it is very hard to combat them.

  JW_Rogue, your wife is absolutely right. In order for ANY marriage to work, both people must be spiritual. My wife’s choice of spirit is gin and tonic and I'm running on whiskey on the rocks.

  what can i learn from that?

  not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.

  i have not meet all atheists, and it would be foolish for me to assume that all atheists, share the same prototypical view points.

  i am inclined to feel that this classifies the views of a large percentage of atheists.

  lions are notorious murderers of beautiful zebras, antelope and other graceful exotic animals.

  cecil probably contributed to the deaths of hundreds if not thousands of animals.

  what happened to him was justice.. you reap what you sow.

  You guys are missing the point. Cecil was keeping the numbers of the real killers in check. Zebras, antelope and such maim and sometimes kills millions of blades of grass HOURLY.

  if you haven't already related to us the experiences at bethel that you told to your mom-in-law, (or even if you already have told us) could you tell us about what you told her.....and...what is "g-jobbing" (sorry for my naivity) .

  The lion king mufasa in today's WT?

  i swear its straight out of the lion king, the scene were scar throws mufasa into the stampede "long live the king" that scene.. i wonder how many jw kids will be picking up on this today?
