  a critique of suzi mayhem's theory of god .

  i thought, when suzi first posted this, that it was a joke something like john cleese's classic "brontosaurus theory" skit in a monty python episode.

  but mr. "dark clouds" has sort of asked me to critique it as if it were a serious theory, so here goes.. i'll address this to suzi, but suzi dear, don't take this too seriously.

  As for you thinking that a basket weaving course would be challenging to study,

  Nothing about it being a college course, right.
  Can you tell me what college has ever had a basket weaving course?
  Give me a break, you were responding to my statement about coming
  from a simple background or poverty. We know who weaves baskests, right?
  It's certainly not college students working on class assignments, right?
  
  BTW, black people are not always bringing up the race issue, well unless they
  can detect racism. Neither are they silly for bringing it up.
  Anyway, making this statement is racist, asshole!
  I now know beyond any reasonable doubt, that you are not black.
  Black people would never make such a statement.

  I think you keep coming back, because a true friend
  doesn't just get up and leave forever. It's very
  clear that some people here are your true friends and
  you their's. You bonded on deep level with them it seems.
  I'm new and don't know you well, but you are one of
  the reasons why I'm still here.
  Not only is it a pleasure to read your thoughts but
  it has served as a form of therapy for me.
  My heart goes out to, I hope the MS is not getting the best of you.

  change and stress

  i've been under medical/psychological treatment for prolonged distress stress disorder and severe depression for several years.

  after a runaway ride on the rainbow pharmaceutical wheel, a retro-looking doctor gave me old reliable prozac... and it lit today in high relief for the first time in my living memory.

  it was a good thing, martha.. for the first time in my life i felt that today was real, and that this moment was complete and intact and entirely void of dread.. amazing!.

  Wow, what a great battle you must fight everyday, Mommie Dark.
  I also suffer from serious depression, mine started at 4yrs. It was the day my dad beat up my mom so badly that she was hospitalized for
  three weeks; my innocence was lost. As my life unfolded I saw and
  exp. more tragedy. Today, my health has really deteriorated during this year, my general doctor has given me several antidepressants, but none have worked well for me. I hope you have more success w/ them, though.
  So, what I've been doing recently is almost completely stripping
  myself from any bit of stress. I'm now focusing on myself, doing
  what I want to and not what others think I should do. I've started
  jogging and eating healthier. My time for others has gone mostly to me. But those empty, dark momments still come.
  I'm at a point where I just don't care to deal with it anymore and just walk away. Of course they come right back, but not as intensely as before. I belief that my effort to focus on myself has
  really made the difference. Have you ever tried this? Maybe it will
  help a bit. Nevertheless, my heart goes out to. Living such a
  tough life, never forget has strengthen you and made you into a survivor. Stay iron-strong and keep fighting, please don't give up on
  happiness.

  Yes, your're right AlanF, I'm a simple-minded girl who
  wishes to be more. Goals me thinks is good. Being much younger,
  I'm currently in college and have a simple
  magna cum laude GPA and come from a simple-non-educated parents.
  I lived in a simple-minded community most of my life and haven't
  associated with learned, high and mighty persons like you. But
  regardless of all this inferiority I got the concept of
  non-absolute truth.
  BTW, have you ever heard the famous quote, "Some people are
  educated beyond their intelligience?"
