  I am very appreciative for all my teachers (helpers).
  They were special in their different way.
  Like Snowbird, I go back to a one room school house (one room 12 grades) with a pot-bellied stove. I had the privilege of helping Moonie Moss (he had no hair on his head), he teacher, keep the room warm by caring the coal for the fire (We were never allowed to put the coal in the stove) and open and closing the windows in the summer.
  
  What memories.
  
  As I set here, letting my mind float back in time. (I can see them all)
  I have to admit I have had some very special people, (most were very firm but kindly) from grade school to collage, that has molded my being.

  i've been lurking here for a few years on and off.

  i faded from the borg seven years ago and haven't had one regret since.

  the only regret i have is wasting twenty years of my life and my children's lives.

  Sweetface 2233, It would be good to know what time of day this photographer snapped this picture. Was it in the early morning or late afternoon? He truly was in the right place at the right time. Mr. Steinmetz needs a pat on the back for having the presents of mind to snap this one. Great Shot Thanks for posting

  when facing the truth about 9/11 being an inside job......do you refuse to believe it?....or are you scared to be called a conspiracy nut?......is this not the same as being controlled by the jw's and being called an apostate if you question the status quo?....free your minds and waken up.....why did the pentagon....the most secure building on the planet get hit?...where were the air force??

  ?...wtc 7 was brought down by explosives....why did san francisco mayor willie brown receive a warning not to fly that morning?....the evidence is overwhelming and out there....all you need to do is read it and waken up again....you did it once in escaping the borg.....

  A fine post by you sir. The WBTS are not the only mind controlling organization on this earth of ours. There are many. BFD, you said, And I don't even know what Skull and Bones is. Look it up. Not meaning to tell you your business of what to do with your life. You will have to stay off JWD for about two weeks to read all that is written about these secret societies. If only the human family knew what is coming upon them. Me thinkin' me talking to much. Thanks

  We are free to love

  what i have noticed since pulling away from group thinking, mindsets, rules and superstitions, that i am open to a broader range of loving people.. i am not sure i can blame all this on the jw expericance.

  as children we are taught from our tribe, (family and enviroment, church, school, extended family, neighborhood..........who to love and who not to love.

  i used to believe as the witnesses taught, you have to "beat" the evil out of children.. have you ever watched a group of small children unattended?

  Scottish Rite Cathedral - New Castle, PA - Circuit Assemblies

  my mom became a jw in the mid-60's.

  i remember as a kid going to the old scottish rite cathedral in new castle for circuit assemblies.

  it was a really neat building.

  Too much consumerism?

  is our modern society too materialistic and over influenced by consumerism?

  companies producing goods spend billions to advertise them to create a desire and need for them so that they will be purchased.

  some of these goods are vital and necessary eg a decent car, washing machine, refrigerator but many other goods are not really necessary eg luxury cars, fashions that change frequently making things obsolete long before they are worn out, numerous beauty products.

  Yes I believe there is to much pressure to buy.

  If you were ever in a position to hear a conversation that I was having. You will often here me say, 'There are three institution that control the world'

  Most person say, 'What that?.

  To which I say, 'Religion, Politics and Commerce'

  I try to help, especially younger persons, see that commerce is using religion and politics to control their lives.

  Just planting seeds.
