Yep, first group study after i got dunked. Last thing i expected. I knew i could never go to another group again, so i didn't. Fortunately i was undergoing a split with my fiancee at the time and i could use it as cover to stop going to meetings without too much heat.

by Jourles inof all the times i was called upon to say prayer, i only remember choking once - but it was such a big choke i totally embarrassed myself for days on end afterwards.
and this one time wasn't even at the kh, it was in a home right before we were going to pre-study the wt.. there were roughly 3 elders, their wives, and some other close friends of mine in the living room.
i'd say there were around 10 of us total.

LanDi. The legends that we've been told exist about floods all over the world could very likely have happened. Because floods do happen. If the polar icecaps melt in the near future and sea levels rise, that will mean that catastrophic flooding will occur. God will not have caused this. The very fact that there are legends from around the world suggests to me that the people living there at the time survived the flooding, and recorded it, and were not wiped out by a god who, although perfect, is somehow capable of making mistakes and regretting his actions.

enriching an already very rich organisation has to be moronic, they are the ones that should be helping the poor among them the proverbial orphans and widows.

Yep. So an old guy in one of my old congs left £750,000($1,500,000), not sure if that included the sale of his property.
Then there's my ex-girlfriend's granddad, who will easily be leaving £500,000($1,000,000), which is splendid considering that some members of his family are struggling financially. What a twat.

I was supposed to be in this. Not in biblical style clothing either, dressed like an American no less. My sister and I refused to do it so they got a pair of stooges in. There was something inside me which was uncomfortable with the whole concept, I mean would it have killed them to get some British voices recorded, just so that it wasn't so freakishly weird.

When it all started for me.

i was thinking about what started my big doubts with the wt doctrine.
i remember often questioining certain things but the biggest doubt was when i started some research in the wt literature about a subject i knew a lot about.
