by annalice inwell we now have a wonderful happy healthy baby boy ,as of march 30th.
not getting much sleep ,but oh well , he is a joy to have.so wish us luck, we have a 18 month old also, so this should be interesting.
so far my in-laws have not even come to visit or see him at the hospital or to our home , even though they have been told they are always welcome.

CONGRATULATIONS!
On your in laws, as others have said, it's their loss. Just enjoy your children and be happy in the knowledge that you would never do what they are doing, and put a cult before your family.
Good Luck

Welcome Whimsy!!
by crazyblondeb ini was df'd a few years ago and reinstated within 6 months (i was apparently very 'fortunate' aka lucky), but i've been fading ever since really.
i think i really only got reinstated because i missed my family and friends... it's hard when you were raised in the truth and don't know a soul in the world.
i keep moving, so it's pretty easy to remain anonymous at the hall.

Where do you like to sit on a plane and why?
by Crumpet ini'm trying to decide where i want to sit on the plane to dallas - i can choose online 24 hours beforehand but am not sure where is best for comfort, quiet, service, view.
is there anyway of predicting where any babies might be so i can be as far away as possible from them?.

I used to like having the window seat, but only if I go with other people, as I hate having to ask people to move when I want to go to the toilet. The emergency exit is a good place as you can hav the window seat and there's usually enough space for you to get in and out with ease. If not then I like the aisle seat in the middle as I like to move around a lot.

Society won't risk being sued "for the sake of the Good News" - thoughts?
by UnConfused inhave you noticed that while anything can happen to publishers for the sake of the good news the society cant risk being sued for the sake of the good news?.
the society will quote and site scripture as to the trials paul experienced for the sake of the good news.
the society will tell the life stories of jws who have suffered personally, some ultimately for the sake of the good news.

Had The Big Chat with my wife...
by besty inafter being a long time fader and lurking here for a few years i finally had the courage to speak to my wife the other day
she was complaining about how we never get invited back to other jw's houses despite being fairly hospitable ourselves and how she's made some new worldly friends that werre non-judgemental and just nice people.
she also mentioned her mum (also jw but weak - split up from her jw husband) was struggling with the routine and had lots of nice friends out of the kh.
