  How Do You Handle Compliments?

  today i was followed around, complimented extensively and asked out by a guy at wal-mart (they have good prices on cake),,,i sort of felt like bolting, i felt extremely embarassed (and said as much) even though i was flattered.

  it's nice to be complimented, at the same time i'm all giggly and squirmy,,, like they're telling me that i've got a head shaped like a walnut rather than...whatever.

  do you take compliments well?

  I find it really hard accepting compliments, I never feel i'm worthy of them.

  i've been absent from this board from some time, as i've been through alot the past few months.

  firstly, my mother passed away after complications from her surgery.

  so i've lost my entire family since 1999. i'm an only child.

  What birthday age depressed you the most?

  my birthday is coming up in a month.

  i'm 35 and i'm so depressed about turning 36. i've heard people really get down when they were turning 25, 30, and other ages but non of my birthday's bothered me this much until now.

  turning 36 is so depressing and i think it's because here i am single again trying to now start my career, my credit, my whole life over.

  I had a reality cheek when i turned 25. I started to panic and think what the hell have i been doing, time is passing me by and im not moving forward. Pretty soon after that I started fading, lol.
