  I went to the meeting today

  so my husband dragged me to the meeting this morning.

  i brought my new bible that i bought instead of the nwt and he didn't say anything about it.

  in the public talk, the speaker opened to matt.

  I know this was a side point to your original question but have you spoken with him about this? What he did wasn't for your benefit but for his own, he was trying to save face in front of the Cong secretary and show that he's still in charge. Well, don't let him save face at your expense.

  By doing this he crossed a line he shouldn't have and took control of a matter he had no right to. Definately take back that control. If I were in your shoes my hubby would be told straight never to do that again.

  If he thought he was helping you, then tell him he wasn't. If he wants to help you, tell him to let you control your situation, not the rules, the elders or his pride.

  i'm coming back to the uk and will be in town for the 4th november (unfortunately besty and the podlets won't be coming with me) but i would love to meet up with y'all.

  especially as i missed the last one.

  sorry I can't be there either, hubby went ballistic when I said I was planning to meet you guys. He actually said "I don't want you mixing with these religious nuts EVER again!"

  God love 'im.

  Of course I put him straight and he realised he was being a twat but he's still not happy about it. I'm a bit pissed off with him actually.

  i hold in my hand the nov. awake magazine entitled "technology - blessing or curse?"..

  now, i understand the need for balance and moderation in using technology, as the magazine says - but could they come up with a more intelligent sounding title?

  it makes the question sound as if abandoning technology might be a solution, a considered choice, a real possibility.

  What if those df'd......could they?

  i've recently seen that some teaching have changed.

  so my question is, if someone was df'd for instance for divorcing there partner for having gay relations and this was years ago when there wasnt grounds for it, so they were df'd, if now because the understanding has changed, could they appeal and be reinstated with a public apology?.
