  Did you loathe going in field service, if so why?

  i always felt like i was not a "spiritual" person because i loathed going in field service.

  i'm not even sure why i loathed it.

  i am very outgoing and can talk to anyone, anytime, about anything.

  I quite liked it, but then again I was good at it. In the end I couldn't stomach carrying any of the Society's literature with me once I knew it was a lie, I just carried the bible.

  Funny enough, people opened up more, they showed me their favourite scriptures and what it meant to them etc. It was nice just to chat to people without having an agenda.

  Yep, the "woe is me" stage is a toughie isn't it? We've all been there.

  Do something, ANYTHING that makes you feel good about yourself. For some of us its diet and exercise, others its been getting an education, therapy or doing things for others. Probably for most of us, it a combination of all those things. But whatever works to build your self-esteem and makes you realise that you are better, smarter, kinder and luckier than the trapped dubs still in can only be a good thing. And lets face it. anyone who leaves the control of the Society has shown more courage than every single bum still sitting on a KH chair.

  The best thing for me was losing 70pound in weight. When I was in, I ate because I was miserable and they had control of my life. Once I got control back, I could control my eating too. Dropping 70pound was a fantastic confidence booster. Those that shun me walk past me doing a double-take now and its a real "up yours!!" to 'em all.

  however, reading the Bible can be sometime svery enlightening, so i came across this scripture:

  Galatians 1:8 "But even if we or (Q) an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, (R) let him be accursed

  Good point inbetween. The GB talk about Jesus being the head of the congregation but as you pointed out, its them thats really at the head and the witnesses have got to follow them not Jesus. Disgusting is exactly the way to describe it.

  i'm reading "the watchtower's coming crisis", by daniel rodriguez.

  rodriguez claims the watchtower will have a severe crisis in the years to come, as "the generation that wouldn't pass away" does pass away.

  time is the wts worst enemy, he says.

  They're afraid already, thats why the recent desperate attempts to revamp the existing FDS doctrine and explain the increase in partakers. They're protecting their power and control, nothing else matters.

  before i washed the dishes this morning.............. .

  i noticed a couple of well dressed men in dark suits passing by my window.

  i jumped up to have a closer look and saw a whole hoard of witnesses in the street knocking on my neighbours doors.
