in the german edition the question is raised and answered if the "faithful and discreet slaves" encourages biblestudy groups who study "deeper" topics.
obviously the answer is "no" don't do that the slaves feeds you more than enough.. i could do with an english copy.

I went with a brother (pardon the JW speak) to a door with a rooster.
He kicked the crap out of that rooster. When the householder came, the brother said the man should keep his rooster locked up.
The householders answer was something to the effect of liking the rooster better than unexpected visitors. -

Is there anyone able to covertly provide publications from KH libraries?
by seatrout ini recently contacted my local kh to get hold of a publication that i need (pay attention to daniel's prophecy).
i also asked in the letter to be provided with a watchtower cd (apparently it has all the old material on it).
however, they have not replied and i am left wondering if it is because i am a member of the general public (and they don't want me to see this material)?.

If the universe is growing??.....
by ex-perfectdaughter ini was wondering the other night....if the universe is growing how does this explain creation?
if god has finished creating how can an expanding universe be explained?
do the dubs have any comment on this?

I had a teacher who showed us some articles that proved the universe was expanding.
that was a long time ago (15 years), and I don't know what references he used.
That being said, my former PO said that the universe is expanding to counter gravity.
His favorite saying was "nothing stays the same, it gets bigger or smaller" or he would use "better or worse" depending on the situation. -

Who is the next most powerful/dominant member of the GB after Jaracz?
by yaddayadda infor some reason there is a consensus on the board that teddy jaracz is currently the most dominant, powerful member of the gb.
i'm not quite sure where that view comes from, but assuming it is true, my question is: who will replace him when he finally dies?
jaracz is 82, recently had a heart attack, but evidently he is well again and still very energetic so he will probably be around for quite a few years yet.

I concur with the idea of Herd being the next up.
He was once the DO of my District.
He had the honor of being quoted as saying "Sisters, if the barn needs painting - paint it."
that was in reference to sisters wearing makeup.
He recently gave a talk at the special assembly day, and he hasnt lost his touch. -

I know that smelly sister too!
I worked with her the other day, along with some young kids.
the whole morning they kept asking "what's that smell?" "Where's it coming from?" "Did we ever figure out why it smells in here?"
