how hard is it to move on?...lose everyone?...start new???
by oompa ini have already lost nearly all my friends....maybe just a handful will even be social........but i so hate to lose my mom and dad and my jw son.....one is df......so he still shows that he loves me.....but damm........i so hate to lose the little bit of fam i have left.......is that normal?......stupid question.....i guess i know from my time here....i so hate these guys that can take them away.....oompa.
i know a bunch of you have done it.....just please help me through it...........

Yes, it is extremely hard to move on.
I have lost every single one of my closest friends. My mother only calls for tech support or to tell me to go to meetings; my brother - only to tell me to go to meetings.
I am single, so I do not have the experience to tell you how hard it will be with a JW wife.
You are possibly my favorite poster on this board. I like your writing style and your sensibleness to your writing.
You are a fantastic person. I know you can start over - move on, if someone like me can find friends - you can too.

O how life changes after 5hr jc...thank simon for my jwd friends!!!!
by oompa inthank simon not god...started to say thank god....trying to avoid that like saying "in the truth"...."worldy"....those two are hard to break........but still.....giving up on what was a good marriage is a bitch....and i am not done yet....some of my now close jwd friends had mates that came out pretty fast.......some not.......i am of the not variety.
the one in thing one out is such a tightrope to walk and it takes a toll on both partners.
i think she would be so much happier without me...but she really loves me deeply.....unfortunately she also has the false hope her prayers will be answered and i will serve jah again........damm this is tough......thanks all...esp st. ann...i called you today, but no answer...did not leave message.

he claims to have found a "control panel" in a slab of rock, and meterial that "can only be found in space" duuuuur!
i think ufo's are just another fantasy religion that people rely on..

I check my cell phone all the time! Sometimes I will check my pocket for the vibrating cellphone and it isnt even in my pocket!!

I would like to point out that I had Samuel Herd as a District overseer nearly a decade before he was appointed onto the "governing body".
Does that mean he knew beforehand that he would be appointed and thus changed his name early on?
Or perhaps he had an assumed name when he became a district overseer?
It would be hard for every overseer to have an assumed name.
