  HOCKEY! World Juniors, anyone watching?

  love this tournament!.

  frustrating calls/non-calls by euro-referees who would barely qualify for work in the ohl/qmjhl, and a tie-breaking format that has no place of a sheet of ice, but what great hockey.. the usa is smoking the ruskies as i type this, but i'm watching canada vs czechs.

  is this being broadcast anywhere but canada?.

  but last weekend i did a job for the condo where i live, and they documented my small effort.. if some one could post a link to the "post your picture here:" thread, i'll put the link there.. otherwise i'll go all narcissistic and post it here.. .

  I would like advice from the women on this forum

  i don't believe i've ever started a topic here before.. ladies, ever wanted to play "matchmaker" or "advice for the lovelorn"?

  well, i've got a situation that has me going in circles.

  it's something i'm also talking about with the realtime women friends in my life, and they've been just great, but there is also huge resource of fabulous women here on jwd that will know about that other intangible aspect of our x-jw involvement and how it affects people, relationships and families, that the women i know will never quite grasp.. it is not, however, something i choose to discuss here.

  My unlikely trip from the Great Lakes of Ontario to the Rockies of B.C.

  sorry about the mispost.. i realize that i am a small voice on this forum, i post so rarely.. at this time, i am packing up some small bags and heading out on my motorcycle for what may be a defining moment in my life.. my family will all be meeting at my younger brother's wedding in british columbia's lush mountainous interior.

  jw's and ex-jw's alike are all agreed to be there.

  if this goes as planned, this will be the first time in almost two decades that all the members of my immediate family will be in one spot.

  The WT "Pedo-Files" Who can open them?

  the silentlambs and barbara anderson say there are 23,000 files at wbts brooklyn headquarters of jw pedophilic activity or reports of pedophilic activity.. j.r. brown, wbts spokesman allows that such files exist but says the number of files is much smaller than that, but never says how many there actually may be.. j.r. brown says the files may also contain mere reports of sexual activity between minors.

  in that case there may be a file with my name on it, as i confessed to a judicial committee of elders of sexual activity at age 15.. j.r. brown says there is no directive or restriction in place prohibiting a jw from going to the police or other legal authorities to seek an investigation into a report of pedophilic abuse or activity.. if j.r. brown means what he says, then there should be no problem in opening these files up to a proper investigative authority with the intent of seeking legal justice.. so, who is such a legal authority?
