Some women are insecure and the rest are really insecure. Yes there are exceptions, but you can generally work from that as a base.
SO those who want to be treated like princesses is a way for them to be reassured.
IF you are all over them you come across as desperate and they will feel like you aren't good enough for them.

Regarding Elders Snooping On Facebook, MySpace & Other Sites
by minimus ini was reading the thread of how an elder parent was snooping on his daughter's facebook.. i believe that many jws, not just elders probably snoop around to see what some witnesses are doing, whether they be inactive, disassociated or active.. do you think jws "snoop" on the internet or if they have access to your computer, do you think they'll try to uncover something about you?.

If it's a JW Elder/Parent or Parent snooping on their kids they get a pass - if it's snooping on members of the cong then it's everything that has been said. Even keeping an eye on your kids needs to be done with great care to not be weird and creepy, but you can't be naive as a parent either.

Did You See Joaquin Phoenix On Letterman???

Contradictory beliefs and faulty reasoning re. Jehovah 'blessing' the work
by Simon inyou will hear jws coming out with two things that are completely contradictory which they take to both prove the same thing.. 1. they have massive growth and that proves that jehovah is blessing the work they do.
2. they are not as large as the catholic church which proves that they are the 'narrow path' leading to salvation.
so, having a lot of followers and also not having a lot of followers are both proof that you are the one and true religion.. hmmn, ok ... but there is more.. think about what they believe regarding #1 above ... that growth is evidence that jehovah is blessing their work.. how does that work exactly?.
