The Watchtower justification for now allowing CIVILIAN SERVICE.
by jwfacts inafter tens of thousands of young witness men in the prime of their lives have spent years in jails for refusing civilian service in 1996 the watchtower decided such a choice was not unchristian and a matter of choice.
watchtower 1996 may 1 p.20.
what, though, if the state requires a christian for a period of time to perform civilian service that is a part of national service under a civilian administration?

Your reply seems perfectly fair and clear to me. As to getting all the stuff, the value would far outweigh the cost of movers and storage if you were to just sell it - minus what you want.

MORE DRIVEL FROM APRIL 15TH WT STUDY.....
by Mary ini'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but on pages 28-29 of the april 15, 2007 watchtower study on let the congregation be built up, they seem to be trying to justify the notion that a person cannot be 'saved' if they leave the organization, even if they have just cause:.
paragraph 15 reads" in modern times, some have ceased associating with the local congregation, feeling that they will serve god on their own.
they may say that it is because their feelings were hurt, they think a wrong is not being corrected, or they cannot accept some teaching.

I find it embarrassing that during my time in it took SO long to see how Jesus Saves was supplanted by the Org Saves. That without the Org all was for naught.
Having posts like this really bring out the bare metal faults of the WT reasoning.
Oh and they are funny too! -

Exceptional Artists within our Midst.....
by restrangled ini have had extensive contact with a true artist who cannot expose himself.. he is one of our members and i am moved after receiving copies of his art work.
he is also a pianist, and volunteers to inspire children.. i feel compelled to talk about his abilities.
his art is exceptional and addresses so many of our feelings.

This will work. Start posting bad work and claim it's his. That'll get him out.

The best gift a friend could give
by free2beme ini was a new ministerial servant and figured i better take on all the assignments that were asked of me, even the ones i did not exactly like.
which brings me to how i got to know, brother johnson, he was an older man in his nineties and in all the time i was growing up, i could count on my fingers how many times i actually saw him make it to the meetings.
ever know someone that was just so old when you were born, and you knew so long, that you convinced yourself they were just always old?

It sounds that you've already made the decision in your heart (whether you wanted to or even meant to), which makes me wonder how you would be able to stay at this point and not go crazy.
