  the following figures from an article in newsweek represent the number of college graduates within each religious group in america.

  can this be used to relate the intelligence of the membership of each religion?

  Fact is: I am a JW, and I do not believe that everyone on the planet, except JW's, will be killed in armageddon. I further do believe that there will not happen a global slaughter which kills 99% of people.
  
  I told you since I came here to this board:
  I do believe that the entire story will happen in an other manner than previously expected. And I am sure to be in accordance to the bible's prophecy and in accordance with the last "new light" which got revealed from WTS.
  
  If any JW's have got other suggestions, then it is their own business. And if the society would go to df' me for "apostasy"-reasons, then it's their own business too. Not mine.

  IS THE WATCHTOWER A FALSE PROPHET?

  when jesus was on earth the devil approached him quoting scripture in order to tempt and entrap him.

  it is no wonder then that the apostate angel would be behind the effort to use the scriptures against jehovahs people today in order to mislead them.

  one of the most cunning and effective uses of scripture against us by satans agents is the charge that we are false prophets.

  The Watchtower does claim to have authority. They do claim to be guided by holy spirit and directed by angels. But they do not claim that any of their teachings are as a result of direct divine revelation.

  
  What is "THE WATCHTOWER" ? I always read Watchtower, Watchtower, Watchtower, .....
  
  Watchtower does claim nothing. And he has to claim nothing. If there is somebody claiming somewhat, then it's the "faithful & discreet slave" and nothing else. That are PERSONS (anointed remnants?). And not a trademark name that is registered in the US patent & Trademark Office. And not a name of a company registred under the laws of the United States.
  
  Please contemplate the following (optional, thinkable) extreme case:
  
  The US Patent & Trademark Office would collapse. All registered trademarks, patents and domains become invalid. Trademark "Watchtower" get off from validity too. Everybody has free hands to use this name for himself for any purposes. All around the world. WTS has left all rights. They would have got no power to protect her logo or trademark name anymore. WHAT IS HAPPENING THEN ????

  Offering authority to a "picture" and giving worship to a trademark is idolatry, you know.
  You first you have to define and explain the NATURE of the F&DS.

  perhaps you recall the instance in the bible where samson made a wager with the philistines that they couldnt guess his riddle.

  as it turned out they wheedled the answer out of him by his fiancee, but the point is that they had a wager.

  since the underlying assumption of the apostasy is that we are not living in the last days of this system of things, and that this world is not facing anything remotely like the biblical apocalypse, at least not any time soon, in the spirit of such antagonism, i would like to propose a similar wager.

  The actually background for low interest rates and " non-stop-money-pressing " is the lack of new (GENUINELY NEW !!!) inventions in the NewEconomy-branch. Almost all of new hi-tech-products coming on the market are hardly patentable. If patents has been granted, they mostly get unworthy or void through legal actions.

  How Long A JW ( Baptised )?

  i frequently read on this board that somebody has 'been a jw for over 25 years' and then learn that they are in fact 25 years and three days old.. i am very easily confused, in fact i actually got inside a car of similar color to my own recently and spent at least five minutes with a furrowed brow trying to force my car key into its ignition, fortunately, i realised my error before i was arrested.

  so, just to humor me, can you all post how long you were/are baptised jw's?.

  Sorry, I never read in the bible there's a doctrinal basis found for the Watchtower's authority. Rather, there is a basis for the authority of Jesus and the anointed 144 000 found. Thats clear.
  Watchtower is a incorporated company, the name is registrated in the US patent & Trademark Office. If authority, then you obviously mean that one of the Faithful & Discreet Slave. These are persons counting to the anointed ones. Watchtower contain of two different groups now: Anointed ones who are mostly older than 80 (corporated under the WTS of PA) and the Max Larsson's group containing non-anointed ones (corporated under WTS of N.Y.).
  WTS always declared there is a difference between "Watchtower" and the F&DS. New light now? Please explain.

  Any brother who deliberately seeks to undermine the trust of Jehovah’s Witnesses in their leadership is wicked and has no place in God’s household of faithful ministers.

  
  Question: What do you understand as "leadership"? YHVH/JHWH and Jesus Christ together with the 144 000 anointed ones?

  Mother's Letter To Start Off The New Year...

  i received this letter from my mother over the weekend, it came with a card and a special note to my children.

  i plan to let them read it someday, not today..... silentlambs.

  You should send that letter to the right address and not to the wrong one.

  Your parents are victims of stupidity and intolerance of elders, CO's and so on.

  THEY (and not your parents who after 40 years got totally frustrated and thinking screwedly) have to be forced to change their attitude in appropriate manner so it matches with the demandments of the Holy Bible.

  That's the right way. The elders of their congo must do steps to influence they in appropriate manner. They are fully responsible for what'd happened, and besides, your parents are hearing up to them - more than to the scriptures.

  This is nonsense; absolutely.

  Either you have inflation: then you have to buy gold and silver (or other metals or real estates or coffee or oil etc....)
  
  Or you have deflation: then please take your hands off!
  The only way possible in such a situation is waiting for a crash. Then go to buy stocks or gov loans or bonds at the lowest price level and sell them with a small profit.
  But if the crash is so strong that the banks become bankruptcy within days, it's your doom..;-)
