personally i find the concept of the devil as presented in scripture to be purely symbolic of humankind's ability to chose to do good or evil.
the development of a moral compass unique to each person.. with many ancient beliefs, people tried to humanize concepts in order to better understand.

What is the Best of. . . ?
by Lady Lee inas jwd has grown over the years it has become more difficult to find a particular thread that had some valuable info in it.
i decided to create a a few topics that would help people find the gems that had been posted.. believe me i had no idea what i was getting myself into.. i started by focusing on the many early posters here and dug out their posts.
so the beginning of the project is indexed by a posters name.

When I was 5 I fell down in the gravel at the quickbuild of my grandmother's hall. I cut my knee open. Still have the scar. At another, a 10 year old girl from our hall fell and broke her arm. JWs dont think to not have children present at a construction site. Isn't it against the law or something. Oh wait, they aren't governed by the laws of the land, they abide by God's laws. Guess God wants 7 year olds installing insulation in the wall and ceilings.

Well i finally did it.........i got my nose pierced, and it felt soooo good
