Has anyone here used a cleaning service and what do you suggest?
by restrangled inoh boy do i hate to ask this question, but due to not being able to bend down or lift right now my house is going to hell!
the floors especially.. i hate dirty grout, and the kitchen is my biggest problem.
have you hired a firm such as merry maids etc, to help you out temporarily?

I used to be the Office Manager for a JW owned cleaning company. I would NEVER recommend them. Since you are apparently injured or something, just be careful! Don't let them dust or vacuum! Your valuables will be broken and your wood furniture scuffed. Also, make sure someone is home while the cleaning is taking place. Cleaners are known for rummaging through personal items and stealing. ALSO, the majority use illegal immigrants, INCLUDING the JW company where I worked. I don't know your stand on the immigration issues, but you can use your judgement on that.
Your best bet would be finding an individual. Good Luck!

My Cats new Litter Box
by OUTLAW inalot of you have seen them..automated self-cleaning cat litter boxes..it`s frigg`n amazing!..the cat takes a dump..10 minutes later,a rake comes from the back of the box and scoops up the poop..theres a little garbage can at the front of the box..the garbage can lid is raised by the machine and the poop is placed in the garbage can..then the machine closes the lid and rakes the sand perfect,for the cats next poop..lol!
!...............theres been many improvements through the years and i`ve just upgraded to the new cat litter box "poopius maximus!"..lol!
!.......i was amazed how the first model could rake the sand so perfect and evenly.my first thought was:"what do they expect the cat do do,take a poop and play a round of golf in his litter box??"..lol!

Sweetheart, take it from a girl who was raised in this religion, OK...they do not have the truth! Look into the defining characteristics of a CULT and you will see how the JWs mirror them. Please do A LOT of research on the origins and changes in the religion, as well as all of the hypocricy and cover ups. Keep reading the discussion board and informing us of your thoughts. Ask TONS of questions...question EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
He did you a favor! You are very young and you can easily move on from this. Don't take him "talking" to a JW girl personally. He is trying to move on as well and she keeps him busy.

Question about profanity...
by Confession ini noticed the "terms of use" prohibits us from posting anything "profane.
" i want to post the letter i'm writing to my 20 year old daughter as she leaves home for the first time this week, and it contains a couple of words that--although used properly--are certainly considered profane.
i'm quite certain i've seen others post some of these words, used in a non-violent or threatening way.
