Angry, humiliated and in pain

saw my husband working outside and literally chased him around the back of the house and pounded and called through the sliding glass door.

when we ignored it, he went around to the front and pounded and called through that door.

We have a friend staying with us, she's "worldly." She couldn't believe it. She was completely in shock. Now she's utterly furious and sending emails out to everyone she knows. Maybe it wasn't a complete loss. She's been after me to write a book and now she's talking about writing one, lol! It was truly awful though. Thanks so much for the support. I'm pretty shaken...

When we ignored it, he went around to the front and pounded and called through that door. In my efforts to stay out of sight, I tripped and wrenched my knee. Out of respect for my parents we've chosen to fade; if it was up to me I would have sent a letter DAing myself months ago but instead I'm stuck hiding in my own home. I'm so angry I can't think clearly. My son was scared and confused and I felt like a coward and a fool. God I HATE the WITNESSES and their twisted UNloving policy that leaves me with no options. No comments please from the Drone brigade in residence despite the Governing Bodies strict instructions. I'd rather just hear from good old fashioned apostates like me!

I'm Attending the Memorial

my lovely girlfriend and i sat down over a homecooked meal, and discussed the pros and cons of attending the memorial.. i decided, with her support, that we would attend.. i spent years of my life pretending to be a witness to please my mother.

when i left the witnesses, my mother said some hurtful things.. and those things really hurt me... for a while.

but i established myself as my own person, developed my own relationships, and have gotten a good start on my own life.. i don't know that i want to hurt my mother back, but i do want to make it abundantly clear to her, my grandmother, and all the members of my former congregation, that richierich is alive and kicking.. and i think that walking into the kingdom hall, dressed respectfully in a suit, yet with full piercing jewelry intact, and with erika wearing something classy that steals the brother's eyes, and draws glares from the humble sisters, will be just the thing to send that message to my mother.. i don't plan on partaking or making a disturbance.

Good for you, RR. I really respect that you're listening to YOURSELF and recognizing what you need to do for closure or completeness or whatever. Maybe I'm misreading it, but it sounds like this isn't really about the dubs at all. More like you're proving something to yourself? Not about them possibly being right, but more that you are complete and whole and strong without them, or maybe I'm just blowing smoke *grin*! Anyhow, hope it goes well and be sure to tell us the juicy details! Oh, who am I kidding. It's Memorial, it will be dull and obnoxious and RR will be the highlight of the evening!!

geeze, the memorial to remember your place in the organization jesus christ is next tueday i think.......anyone else getting roped into going besides me?

i'm trying to talk my brother into going....just so i'm not the only slacker there.

Back when I asked for advice about staying together for the kid/s, I should have listened and just gotten the divorce. I was just too effing spineless to do it though. Huge mistake. He still has no full-time job, I'm sleeping on the couch and he's already scouring the personals. A very good friend just basically told me I was taking the path of least resistance and while it was easier now, it was a huge mistake; that ultimately it would be easier on my son if we split now because he's younger and more resiliant. I guess I'm just sick at heart that I could lie so effectively to myself.
