  Acts 15:19,20,28,29 what does it really mean?

  i'm not completely sold on these verses at acts 15:19,20,28,29 meaning it was just to keep harmony with jews and gentiles.

  i can see that meaning in those verses but also another one.

  to me that can mean that they arent going to add circumcision to the list of burdens or necessary things and those things listed in v29 are burdens not simply some things to keep harmony.

  Vindication 3 1932 quote about reading Rutherfords books better than Bible

  1932 "if you spend 15 minutes reading each of rutherford's books you would get more pleasure than you would reading the bible for a whole year" {vin3 383} .

  this is twice now ive seen this quote posted on topix.net and when i asked for confirmation of it the first time over there i didnt get any.

  when i searched online i managed to find the vindication 3 book but it didnt go upto page 383. can someone verify that the above quote is accurate or check this book if they have it?

  If I was Satan.........

  the dragons post about wether satan was a hypocrite got me thinking.. .

  if according to gen 3:15 and the prophecy thats supposed to mean satan was going to kill jesus (brusing in the heel) and then jesus is going to destroy satan (bruising in the head) that would mean satan would know at an early stage what his life would entail right?.

  if i was satan (i'm not by the way) i might have 'looked' at this and other prophecies and decided i'm not going to help fulfill them.

  the title was to hopefully make you at least be interested in this post whereas the politically correct non generalised question might be "is there a mindset of some on jwd?.

  Detailed version of split caused by Rutherford...where???

  hi i was wondering if anyone has the link to the site that deals in great detail with what happened leading up to rutherford taking control of the 'society'.

  im sure its a bible students site and it has a very detailed page with links to copies of official letters by the parties involved etc
