Faith in a possible God keeping up to speed with knowledge since old texts
were written is one thing, but the JWs leaders deliberately misinform to feign
exclusiveness despite harm and deaths. I focus rudeness on them and consider
the followers victims I don't want to further victimize.Regarding the JWs leaders, though, they don't belong in an article on fiction
understood as such but in this article on strange penises:

Deut.19:15,16 regards capital punishment under Mosaic gov't law.
Matt.18:15,16 Jesus used Mosaic law to stop objections from Mosaic law follow-
ers.
NT Christians believed the crucifixion ended Mosaic law and didn't ask for
their religion to be made law of the land let alone with gov't death penalties. The JWs leaders have a customized conservatism to feign exclusiveness for
marketing. It plays fast and loose with research material, including the Bible
(this, the blood issue, etc.). The approach I'd recommend if choosing Abrahamic
religion is progressive/reform which requires the basic God concept keep up to
speed regarding knowledge that's come up since old texts were written (Gen.
creation taken allegorically, etc.).'Two witnesses'Jehovah's Witnesses' congregational judicial policies require
the testimony of two material witnesses to establish a perpetrator's serious
sin in the absence of confession, based on their interpretation of scriptures
such as Deuteronomy 17:6 and 1 Timothy 5:19. The organisation considers this
policy to be a protection against malicious accusation of sexual assault. The
Watch Tower Society's Public Information Department specifies that this two
witness policy is applied solely to congregational discipline and has no bearing
on whether a crime is reported to the authorities. It is not necessary for both
witnesses to have observed the same instance of child molestation to establish
guilt. As of 1991, statements by two victims of separate incidents by the same
perpetrator may be deemed sufficient to take action and impose internal sanc-
tions. DNA evidence, medical reports, or information from forensic experts or
police that proves sexual abuse is also accepted as a valid "second witness".In cases where there is only one eye-witness—the victim—to an allegation of
child abuse, elders are instructed to monitor the accused individual closely,
and in most cases suspend any conspicuous congregation duties. If there is
evidence to suggest that the alleged perpetrator did abuse children, congrega-
tion duties are suspended and a warning is given to the congregation for its
protection.

American Nuns come out swinging against the Vatican!
by mind blown inamerican nuns come out swinging against vatican in face of radical feminist accusationsby dan gilgoff, cnn.com religion editor.
(cnn) the leadership representing most of americas nuns came out swinging friday against the leaders of the roman catholic church, in the face of charges from the vatican that the nuns are espousing radical feminism and straying from church teaching.. the vaticans criticism of the american nuns has caused scandal and pain throughout the church community, and created greater polarization, the leadership conference of women religious - which represents about 80% of american nuns - said in a statement friday.. the board of the group had convened in washington this week for three days of special meetings, provoked by an april assessment from the vatican that said americas nuns had largely gone rogue and warned that they could be a negative global influence on the church.. .
the vatican report said that at an annual gathering of the leadership conference of women religious, guest speakers who preached "radical feminism" went unchallenged.

kepler--Sounds like you have addressed usage of another set of words in the
OT."The issue of God and gods" re: mP--The bible is actually an attempt to
consoliate many many gods, pretending they are all either Jehovah or Satan.kepler--You are right about the first verse of the first chapter of the first
book.More Wikipedia on Gen.:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegorical_interpretations_of_GenesisGen. is followed by a romanticized version of the rise of monotheism (religion
as Mosaic law of the land with the death penalty for religious reasons, homo-
sexuality, etc.) which became more established in the days of Isaiah (God
created all--"who was with me?" etc.).Likewise, the idea of Satan evolved as you noticed. The links I supplied give
some more on the history of the development of the idea. Also:"In other Christian beliefs (e.g. the beliefs of the Christadelphians) the
word 'satan' in the Bible is not regarded as referring to a supernatural,
personal being but to any 'adversary' and figuratively refers to human sin and
temptation."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satan#Christianity"Liberal Christianity often views the devil metaphorically."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_teaching_about_the_DevilThere's currently a range of interpretations ranging from orthodox/conserva-
tive to liberal/progressive/reform on that issue and others. If orthodox/conservative (which most Muslims, Republicans running for office,
and the JWs leaders are variations of) emphasizes defense of perceived integrity
of old interpretations of old texts, and liberal/progressive/reform emphasizes keeping the basic God concept up to
speed regarding knowledge that's arisen since the old texts were written (cosmo-
logy, evolution, homosexuality, etc.), and keeping faith in perspective as such
as a hope for a possible God (so wanting separation of church and state, etc),I recommend liberal/progressive/reform. If God is there, it wouldn't honor
Him to misinform or harm unnecessarily in His name. That said, I don't mean to force points about preferred interpretations of
Satan specifically being as it's a faith matter that God or Satan exist. (Like-
wise, I don't want to force the point about subjective reactions to music beyond
the objective math of it.) "Satan" can accomodate a being that represents re-
jection of God or a metaphor of that. The JWs leaders not only force points but misrepresent alternative stances and
reference books. If that's your main concern, I've compiled a lot of evidence
of that for my site at the link above. But I'm more concerned that an expose of
that undermines their ability to cause harm to people (harsh shunning, a ban of
the medical use of blood/major blood products, rules about how to react to
intolerant political leaders) than that they harm old or preferred characteriza-
tions of Satan.
