I didn't see mention of the shunning the GB imposes on followers who persist
in criticizing any of the 12 or so distinctive GB policies. I was stumped at
first when I realized the JWs who came to my place didn't double check the
distinctive GB claims at the library, and the leader of the group wouldn't even
look at the research material I gathered about them, till afterward when I
learned the GB policy to keep their customers afraid of being shunned by friends
and family.Discouraging higher ed goes back to Russell and Rutherford, even before the
harsh shunning policies, for the same reason. Knowing they were sending follow-
ers door to door the leaders took care to discourage higher ed. Early on, Rus-
sell encouraged friends to shun Marie, and Rutherford encouraged followers to
shun Walter F. Salter. As the group grew in size and controversy the followers
were required to abide by general policy to shun those who caught on to the
leaders and complained.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Franklin_Rutherford#Doctrinal_changesI accept a choice about basic faith understood as such but I draw the line at
misinformation and harm. Anyone might be fooled by Popoff's radio receiver gim-
mick (GB blood policy, etc.), meant to affect distinction, into throwing away
life saving meds (refusing medical treatment of blood/major blood products). I
recommend holding up the "radio receivers," always there for GB claims of dis-
tinction, for a secular audience of believers and non-believers.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_PopoffThe followers are victims, sometimes of the shunning policy, so I don't feel
like further victimizing them and calling them stupid, which might be taken for
a cranky editorial from any of the stances. I'd rather hold up the radio re-
ceivers and emphasize that it's all the more apparent that the GB uses them in
how they do all they can to keep their customers in the dark about them. -

You realize "I'm the age my Mom and Dad were when they said that," etc.--"so
that's how they felt when they said that." You wish you could go back and see
them again. With certain social improvements, you're annoyed at what some young people
generalize your parents' whole generation was like knowing your parents weren't
like that. The young adult celebrities from your childhood are passing away. With some
regularity.Old people are weird. They don't say, "The Depression" (1930's)--"that was
tough" and wear fedoras and know about the Big Bands and Bing Crosby. They took
the wrong mesc at Woodstock and have favorite Firesign Theater albums or such.
I'm sorry--you're not proper old people. You'll have to be something else. You remember when only Valley Girls made so many statements sound like
questions and acted mundane things out as easier than finding the right words:
"I went outside? And I was like Brrr!"You double space between sentences and put quotation marks after the periods
and commas. -

Delidding Haswell by Cyclops
Wear rubber gloves. (You might also wear an anti-static band and attach the
other end to a ground.)Held facing the silver surface with the notches at the top, the CPU inside is
vertical in the center with the VRM along the left side of that. Over a soft
surface, carefully cut the corners first then cut the sides--cut the left side
last to avoid the area of the VRM--till you remove the lid.Use Indigo Xtreme Clean to remove the TIM (thermal interface material) from
over the CPU on both pieces. You don't have to remove the black glue around the
edges.

Put a tiny drop on the center of the CPU and spread it with a scalpel avoiding
the VRM. Leave a thin even film over the CPU. Replace the lid.
http://www.amazon.com/Coollaboratory-Liquid-Thermal-Interface-Material/dp/B001PE5XACPut the CPU on the motherboard, etc., as usual.

http://www.overclock.net/t/1397672/deliding-a-4770k-haswell-improving-temperatures-and-maximizing-overclockablityCyclops used Xigmatek Freezing Point G4718 on the lid of the CPU for the CPU
cooler.More information about that last step:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3gx6c62D7IAttach the back plate for your CPU cooler if it comes with one.
Put a small drop--the size of a lentil, not a pea--of thermal compound (aka
thermal grease/thermal paste/thermal gel/heat paste/heat sink paste/heat sink
compound) on the center of the lid of the CPU. One possible variation: on a
cooler with a mirror-like, perfectly flat surface, "less is more," i.e., apply-
ing less thermal compound than the ideal is not a big problem. However, if the
base of your cooler is not smooth because of the gaps and irregularities typi-
cally found on coolers where the heat pipes touch the CPU directly, you need a
little more thermal paste.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cooling-air-pressure-heatsink,3058-9.htmlDon't spread the paste, which can result in air bubbles--let the pressure of
the CPU cooler spread the paste.Recommended best to worst:
