"Clearly" is the new "thus" and "hence."

What is THE lie?
by The Searcher in2 thessalonians 2:11; "so that is why god lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie....".
this scripture has intrigued me for quite a while.
exactly what is "the lie"?

I did a brief search and found something likely to indicate the intention:

'Obey the organization like Moses'--why this is wrong
by sd-7 ini was just thinking about how the watchtower often compares the organization's position to that of moses.
challenging moses, in their retelling of the biblical account, equated challenging god's authority, as korah, dathan, and abiram did, to their own peril.
the conclusion we are to gain from this is not to challenge, question, or disagree with the watchtower society's teachings even in our private thoughts.

Recommended video on YouTube called, "The History of the Devil"
by King Solomon in(copy and paste the link into your browser).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5myfj4irxm.
there's a very fascinating video on youtube called, "the history of the devil", which shows how the depiction of satan (and traits) has changed over the centuries; the satan character is a mirror, reflecting the current popular concept of evil that exists at any given time.

I've read some of those negative slams of a lot of celebrities. The least
serious seem to be curses of the celebrity for not being so outgoing--for quietly
moving away from a stranger who disliked the contrast of the private person with
the entertainment presentation--or a matter of taking sides against the celebrity
for expressing disagreement with how to do something on a set. I haven't found
anything more seriously negative than a minority view of that, with most others
and various coworkers expressing admiration. I won't begrudge a person over that.
I don't think it warrants a detraction of the person aside from nice characters he
played or we're all in trouble.
