Don't feel bad...it took me 13 years to check out apostates, and I was only out for eight years before internet use was widespread!
i am back after several months to tell you all that i am cured!
that's right, i am no longer an ex jw.
i can go around and pretend that i was never knocking on doors.

From what I've read on Facebook, this is a joke. Somebody said the cameraman's laughter can be heard in the background. I just elt so embarrassed and sorry for that poor girl that I didn't hear the laughter.

...the one person in this world that i called brother passed away.
i miss him so bad.
he haunts my thoughts every day and i always see or hear something that rips open the hurtful wound that i got the day he died.
I'm so sorry for your grief, and I don't know what to tell you to fix it. My heart was broken this past Tuesday when my best friend was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. I'm hoping like hell that I won't have to grieve losing her. And I hope like hell your grief will subside and become happy memories of Daris.

so is it realistic to believe these witnesses going thru puberty and teenage years won't on penalty of death?.
i always thought, if nearly 100% of teens do it isn't it normal?.

That is exactly right! I saw a documentary on Charles Manson, and it said that he couldn't convince his followers to kill for him until he controlled and manipulated their sex lives. Scary stuff!
i know everyone's situation is different.
and no matter what age one is when they finally say enough of the religion,it's difficult.. but,from what i have observed among my friends,it appears that those who left in their teens/early 20's fare a bit better.. my two close friends who were disfellowshipped in their teens/early twenties,seemed to do fairly well with the transition.
of course,i know they went through a great deal of pain to get where they are today.
Sweetie, you're a lovely young woman; beautiful, funny, smart and sweet. You are going to do just fine out in the world, because you have experience and maturity in your 30's that your friends didn't have in their 20's when they left the cult.
woke up next to my wonderful wife after getting up she make me a great breakfast and for dinner tonight grilled steak and a brithday cake she made.

i moved on sat...fell & fractured my wrist..... it is in a caste,thank god it is the ,left one.... i am all settles in with the help of my daughter ,sonin law,grandkids.. i was at the hospital for hours....was able to talk to doc,nurse,why.
they must not shut the door on the jw's as they have been doing.. they were very interesting took my card to give the ones they have.
been listening to.....so i feel good came out of bad....
