Interesting stuff. Is there a way to enlarge the court documents even more than what they are once clicked on? I can't read the print even with my reading glasses on.

Hello and nice to meet you! Do you think it would be helpful if your husband started posting here? Another ex-jws explanation of things may be clearer to him. My husband was never a jw either, but his first wife became one while they were still married. Although he was very young at the time, he knew it was all bs. They were divorced by 1975, and she called to warn him that Armageddon was coming. He told her to drop by his place in time enough for her to watch him bend over and kiss his ass goodbye, LOL! He always could spot bs from a mile away. Anyway, he has a little bit of understanding, but he gets very angry when I tell him stuff that I read here and on Facebook.

History has shown that apostate activities cannot have any effect on WT policies either on child abuse or domestic policies, even Ray Franz and Barbara Anderson couldnt influence matters when they were at the core of the JW administrative affairs, so how do you think internet peddlers could affect any change in any manner?.
I don't mind being called an apostate. Here is the definition: One who has abandoned one's religious faith, a political party, one's principles, or a cause. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/apostate
I couldn't be happier to shine a light on this vile corporation. The governing body is either too arrogant or too delusional, or both, to change their policies, but people on this type of forum are here to help others as they leave the cult behind. The fact that those who are leaving aren't alone is going to be the downfall of the Watch Tower.

Stupid question from a non-native speaker
by Nika Bee inhello i am relatively new here, and i apologise for my english in advance.. this is a very irrelevant and probably very stupid question: what does the word "borg" mean, or where does it come from?
i understand it's used for the organisation, but i don't get why.. also, where does "kool aid" come from?.
thanks and sorry again!.

Hello I am relatively new here, and I apologise for my English in advance.
It always cracks me up when foreigners say this, because they almost always write in English better than those of us who grew up speaking it.
"cracks me up" translation: makes me laugh

Do you think it's sad Ted Jaracz is not here to reap what he sowed.
by yesidid in.
after all jaracz was in charge of the service dept which formulated and enforced the silence rules and others which are now a source of such pain for the watchtower.. shame he died without having to face the consequences.

It's people like him that make me wish for such a place as a torturous hell.

Watchtower policy history timeline, victim's action against pedophile?
by FatFreek 2005 ini'm working on an essay to release to the gazette but want to make sure i have my ducks in a row.. i wonder if someone can point me to a history timeline of watchtower policy as respects treatment of pedophiles, actions of victims and how they cannot divulge identities of offenders to others, phone calls (anonymous) by elders to authorities from public phone booths, etc.. the board understandably is flooded with the latest on the 26 million dollar settlement (it hit our arkansas democrat gazette this morning), so it's kinda tough for me to piece things together in orderly fashion.

This apostate wants the Watch Tower to end their atrocious policies on child abuse and domestic violence.

I know this must be scary for you, but it's as routine as having morning coffee for the doctors involved. Just think of that when you start to feel anxious. Sending good thoughts your way.
Edited to add: The time to feel anxious is if you start mooing, LOL! Hey, here are wishes for a speedy recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!

for those that are younger than me, king was beaten by police and it was caught on video.
it went to trial, and the officers were acquitted, which led to the race riots in la in 1992.. .

I read on Facebook that he was raised a jw. No wonder he had substance abuse problems!
