OMG! Is the WTB&TS trying to soften up "worldly" kids, so they'll be ripe for the picking when a jw molester comes to their doors? This is absolutely sickening! I will make sure that if this garbage is offered in my school system, that Barbara Anderson's court records are also available for review. Better yet, I'm going to try to keep "Knocking" out of my school system entirely. Hopefully, everyone else on this board will do the same.

knocking was selected for "community classroom" and will be offered to public schools across the united states for free.
the story lines in knocking have been developed into a curriculum with supporting video modules from the film.

by LouBelle intoday, at a park restaurant, this old lady saw a young fat lady walking past and started making fun of her with her friends.
the fat young lady saw this and i could see the look of hurt on her face.
i couldn't help myself, i got up went to the old lady and told her she was being hurtful and childish considering her age, and she should grow up!

3 cats: 18-year old Puss Puss (pictured on my avatar), 8-year old Buddy who is my 14 pound protector, Lucy, an almost 3-year old Calico who is in love with my husband and 1 dog: 12-year old Brittany who is a Border Collie/Springer Spaniel mix. She sleeps most of the time and snores louder than my husband.

seems that bethel is no longer looking for jws to make bethel their career, not unless one is a doctor, lawyer, engineer or very educated or talented individual that the wts can prophet from.
people now comming to bethel are ones that will stay during their youth and then get out.

I think the Internet has and will change witnessing for many younger folks who are familiar with computer use. I'm guessing that's why so many jws on YouTube are even willing to converse through text with apostates. Just think how much more convenient it is to witness on line when you want to and be anonymous at the same time. I wonder if the ones who make videos count their time.

Did you have the bookstudy at your house?
by karter inwe did for many years it was great becouse we had small children.
however you are expected to have a supper now and then after having food droped then ground into the carpet a few times i called it quites on the suppers although i'd invite some for beers after.
one bookstdy conducter announced there was going to be a supper next bookstudy so i announced no there wasen't he spoke to me after something about unwritten rules i said '' the phraseas call it oral trditions"

Yes, and the only reason we did was because my crazy husband at the time was seeking advancement. And I can't believe the elders said ok, because it was a two bedroom roach ridden apartment in a 3-story walk up with no air conditioning in the southern U.S. I felt embarassed, because we could've afforded a nicer place to live, but the husband was always trying to prove his vow of poverty. We weren't impoverished. He worked full time and made good money, and I worked part time and was a regular pioneer. When the elders finally realized how crazy he was, they moved the book study. I often wondered if one of our neighbors mentioned his screaming fits while he was beating me. One guy who lived across the hall from us used to knock on the door and ask to borrow a cup of sugar or dish soap or something silly like that when the violence got really bad. As for refreshments, I never offered any, because I didn't know that kind of thing was done. I'd never been to a book study that served goodies afterwards.
