  Now what do I do?

  for those of you that know my plight....i need to know your opinion.

  summary - i developed a piss poor, combative, rebellious attitude toward the society many years ago.

  my wife saw it and hated it.

  They assured her that no DF'ing would take place unless I "shout from the roof tops my disagreements and recruit others to follow me".

  Please ask your wife what part of this reassurance she doesn't understand. Once you make your objections clear about the "truth" to the elders, you'll be df'd. And you'll be considerd a spiritual endangerment to her and your kids. This type of talk with the elders is exactly what got SD-7 df'd, and his wife remains a jw despite knowing his reasons for leaving the "truth".

  Take the advice of most here, and charm your family into becoming part of the real world. Good luck

  Ali is back in the hospital

  my daughter, ali, is back in the hospital.

  probably something wrong with her pacemaker.

  she had a cold with a bad cough last week, and a lead may have come loose.

  It's a shame that somene so young is having all of these problems! Knock on wood, my husband s doing great, and he's twice Ali's age. His ejection fraction went from 25 to 55 in eight months, with the goal of attaining 60 to 65 a year or so afte the surgery. I hope things finally go her way.

  can i vent? ....

  okay,,, my cat was in a fight last weekend ... new cat on the block,, 2 drs away, territorial stuff .... .

  twice, she saw the vet last week, and has two puncture wounds,,, one near her eye ... .

  she was fine when i took her to see the doc on saturday, but now, her eye is infected again.. .

  Panic Attacks

  hi, i was reading on here a while ago that some of you guys and girls suffer from panic attacks.

  how common is this in the jws?

  the wife had a bible study today and i was sort of listening looking for a discussion point.

  But if that feeling, in the chair, was a 10 on a scale of 1-10, then these feelings are about a 5-6 for about a second or so. I've even had a slight body jerk, or twist, kinda like when you are chilled. Get this, even have made a slight vocal sound when it is worse.

  Welcome to JWN, Not Just Yet! What you described could be anxiety or a number of other things. I would get checked out by a neurologist just to be on the safe side. Your description of these episodes is similar to what my cousin says is a light seizure.

  have been a member of jwr since 2008 and have not been to hall since june 2009, have celebrated 2 yrs without memorial - woohoo - that being said i have stopped by here frequently and decided yesterday to join your group.. it has been very enjoyable to read your stories as well as the other group i have been with, and so it just seemed reasonable to belong to both.. my story is no differant than all the others, the only thing is i was not born in.

  that being said i also have no real issues with being an apostate (although i do believe it is used in the perjorative sense by the wt).. peace - brad.

  hi, everyone my name is becky i've been in and out of the organization it wasnt untill 2 years ago i finally put a end to going at all and havent been back since.it was so hard cause i have family in it and was grown up with those thoughts and rules way of life i guess you call it.my head is still in confusion most of the time.i'm currently going to a baptist church and i love it just when witnesess are brought up it upsets me even though it shouldnt cause i'm no long going to it.i feel like i dont know who to believe anymore or what is even good to read anymore.i'm on facebook alot and see alot of things on there but dont know the right people to talk to on there either about it,so i found this here.i'm 33 years old and dont think i should be struggling with such a thing but wow it is hard to get out of your head.i like reading the bible but sometimes i dont understand what is being said which is why the watchtowers i thought helped me but im finding they didnt i guess,yep confused as ever...

  i need help with a reference.

  there was a watchtower article (or km?

  ) that talked about how a christian working for a hospital should act if they found out that another christian in the congregation had questionable medical treatment (an abortion?).

  I wonder if this article has ever been provided to the US federal govrnment agency that oversees the HIPPA laws or to whatever agency/ies that are related to bar associations. It seems to me that all jws should legally be excluded from working in legal and medical fields.
