i never heard of ANYONE being dfed or in a jc for gluttony EVER! there are also almost none articles about it in the literature.

Gluttony and Drunkenness
by journey-on ini knew several that got df'd for drunkenness but never anyone for gluttony.
as far as i can remember, in the bible there weren't categories or various levels of sin; and both these are mentioned as sinful.
last i looked, there were an awful lot of very obese witnesses in the congs.

next stunt is new blood policy. they're preparing for this one since a long time. and they're quiet far already. blood is already nearly completely allowed. its just a small step, but will still be a risk. and it will take some more years. but it will happen. im sure.

Anyone seen the Secret?
by Satans little helper insomeone lent me the dvd of the secret over the weekend.
we watched it last night and i wondered what everyone thought of it?
i thought that it was very "evangelical" and alot like the jw's - large on promise and small on content.

by Orgull init's only my third day here so, go easy on me.
lol.. seriously, my new doubts have made it harder and harder to go in service.
a few months ago, when a new month rolled around, i realized that i hadn't actually gone in service at all the previous month.

the non-believers are not looking at the whole picture..just the present..the things that go on in the world happen for a reason and it doesnt mean god doesnt exist.

What is the NEW BUZZ in the Org?
by Save My Soul inthere is a new wt arrangement, the 1935 change, the 30 minute public talk among other things.
some have even said they would stop talking doom and gloom, can someone please confirm this?.
what is the perception of these things among those active in the org?

my perception (and im active): the changes like the new wt and awake and some other stuff are a sign that end is nearer than everrrrr! things need to be more effective to save the last ones before big A.
big A is just around the corner! see this evidence:
- global warming
- recently a big flood in the UK
- terrorism
- religion is in the critics
- there is no new date for armageddon... it can come like a thief in the night now.

i do it regulary atm. its hard for me to go into service.
service may not be easy... but its a whole different story when its not in your heart.
i go like 2h a month. but sometimes even not even these 2h... my report always says 2h. i dont want to be confronted by elders yet :/ (but of course they wanna meet me nevertheless... 2h is not much enough)
i dont wanna know how much of the hours in the wt once a year is faked. wait. i WANT TO know :D
i never feel good about faking the numbers. but its not god who wants you to write those numbers down. its a human organization who threatens you to do it. its still a lie and i hate lieing... but... i cant do otherwise atm :( -

how much effort does it take to check your spelling before you post a topic??.
just read over some of the topics up for discussion right now and you'll see a very shocking (to me, at least) disregard for accuracy.. if you can't trouble yourself to get your spelling right how are the rest of us going to respect the fact you have your reasoning right either??.
