Was this like Armageddon over Sydney yesterday?

been off-air mopping up since last night.

the mother of all storms hit us and quite suddenly - one minute it was hot (as usual lately), the next all went dark and the most violent of thunderstorms hit us.

in a time of drought this was some reversal!

no boundaries, but still differenet speaking languages, and different looking people and different customs, but no boundaries so you could find work anywhere and have the same privileges than you would have in your own country.. i'd definitely move where it's warmer.

that wouldn't be hard to find.... .

ok, so you know about my parents' and my email exchange.

mom said come to meetings, i was genuine with her and told her why i don't, mom replies with denial of what she just read (like i am a confused baby), then i replied with an email that absolutely takes care of everything.

from evolution vs creation, to the bible, to jehovah, and the wts.

Just have your hubby call him back and say he can't make it. Or you call him back and say if you want to speak about JW issues we are not interested and please do not bother us with this again.

I've personally found that being direct and not beating around the bush is the best approach with JW's.

Good luck - by all means keep your man away from your dad and the JW's !!!!!

Crisis here and there No more visits for a while

cooking dinner for the folks and the oven caught fire.

john is an ass as his fuel pump went out and wants us to fix it.. told him to go to the dealer.

john threatened to hit jake and it was awful.

You have to know when to say when, we all come to our enough point in our own time, and this includes every aspect of our lives.

Pathetic Speakers

this is great.

i was suffering through an interminably long sunday p.m. public talk (we flip-flopped w/ the other cong--at least sunday a.m. was a little more tolerable because there was still some of the day left to do something).

the speaker was talking about "physical training being beneficial for a little" and how some exercise was necessary.

I was watching a story on utube (?) anyway, it was about JW's called knocking. All the replies at the end were from JW's and not on of them could spell or correctly state a sentance.

Maybe if the spent as much time on education as they do on trying to convert people to this cult they would be able to read, write, spell and use these words correctly in sentances!!!
