I love Bath & Body Works, I loose my mind when I go in there. I wonder if there is one near hear (hospital), maybe I can run out if it's close.

Taking control of my life....this is what i'm gonna do.
by R.F. inas many of you may know, i'm currently an ms and pioneer, and been missing meetings consistently for almost 2 months.
i have been concerned about my dad's reaction to me wanting to leave the org and he's been questioning me about missing meetings.
well i've decided now not to jump through the elders' hoops anymore.

Leaving the JW religion is not what causes bad marraiges, or you children to be taken away, or any of the other bad things that happen in life. It's making bad choices, choosing the wrong person to be with.
R.F. - getting out of this religion now is your best bet. But just because you don't believe in the
truthlie anymore doesn't mean you should loose your mind and make bad choices.nj

I'm 18 and I want my baptism undone.
by LtCmd.Lore ini was recently informed that i have the legal right to have my baptism nullified.
but apparently there is a time limit on it.
i have to do this before i turn 19. if i succeed, they will announce at a meeting that i was never a jehovahs witness, and i will not be disfellowshiped or disassociated.. i should also point out that i was baptised at age 9.

she was baptized at 12 years old because her 15-year-old boyfriend was baptized, and she wanted to spend time with him.
pioneering was the only option, so she got baptized.

Dad is doing good..
by ex-nj-jw infirst of all i want to say thanks to all those sending good thoughts/vibes and even prayers!.
my dad made it through 7 hours of surgery, he did loose quite a bit of blood but he's a tough old man and is hanging in there.
the stroke affected the left side of his body, the doctor thinks he will have some loss of function on his left side, but until he actually wakes up fully and goes thru therapy we really won't know.. i don't know if it's because i'm a nurse or if the nurses and doctors were tired of dealing with the jw's and my mom, but they gave the ok for me .

Sitt'n here at the hospital, waiting until I can go into see dad again. My JW brother want's to know what I'm doing, why I'm so engrossed in whatever I'm doing on the internet!
I'm waiting for him to start preaching, not sure what I'm gonna say, but I'm trying to think of something that may get him to think not something to start a fight....this will prove to be very hard for me.....

by thebiggestlie inok first of all i want to apologize for not coming in more often and saying hi, i guess im just lazy.
richierich did show me that thread from last week with yall asking about me and i intended to post but i completely forgot and other things got in the way but i do want to say thank you for being so kind and caring.
ok so i had my first elders meeting the other day with the subject at hand as "bad association" seeing that my parents caught me sneaking out to hang with my "worldly" girlfriend and her friends.

You are the most mature 17 year old I think I've ever heard (read).
I can't even imagine my 17 year old or 19 year old making the kind of decisions or facing the problems you are facing!
Hang in there, stay with your plan and most important GET YOUR EDUCATION!!!!! You are going to need it not so far down the line. If you can hang in there you will be fine.
I admire you for respecting your parents and being able to acknowledge that they truely think they have your best interests in mind.
