Harry Potter and the exasperated mum........help
by fifi40 inmy ex is a jw (as previously mentioned) and is against our son going to see the new movie, despite admitting that he has witness friends who will happily go and see it........oh and he also has witness friends that would dob their brother into the elders for going to see it.. i have just had a bit of a heated debate about it with him (our son is 14, nearly 15) and i just wondered if any of you have good sound reasoning for what is a 'matter of conscience' for these brainwashedd poo brains!!!!!.
help.........warlock can you just wave a magic wand or something............ a mother doing battle with the force...............a brain numbing, mind control force at that.
seriously folks though any gems you have would be greatly appreciated.

If you have joint custody and he's with you most of the time, let him go. If dad has physical custody, take him on your visitation day, and tell him to keep his mouth shut about it or dad will cause problems.
It's a movie for christ sake! What is the big deal? Damn JW's get on my last nerve with that crap!

If the sisters were allowed to wear pants...
by Angry_Kangaroo init might be easier to dress modestly.
think about it, there is always admonitions against slits in skirts (which a lot of skirts have), too short dresses and skirts, etc.
not to mention not having to worry about someone peeping up your dress as you walk up the bleachers at the dc.

wardrobe malfunction (and I was a faithful elder dub).WOW! That reeks of JW lingo. You allowed her, she must be very thankful to have a man that ALLOWS her to wear certain articles of clothing

I saw a member of the GB on the way to work today!!!!!!
by Warlock inactually, i didn't see any member of the gb on the way to work, either dead or alive.. what i do see on the way to work is this: if i look over to my left, i see the big, beautiful, pacific ocean.
on my way home, when i look over to my right, i see the big, beautiful, pacific ocean.
so while the rest of you are dodging deer, and gagging on diesel exhaust, i'm breathing-in the fine salt-air.. just thought you might like to know.

I'm jealous! All I see all day is four lead lined walls, no window unless I walk out front. As for the drive in, nothing but other motorist, that can't drive worth a S***.

I have heard of people who knew they were going to be df'd and had a "going away" party to say goodbye to their friends! That is really sick if y ou ask me. These "friends" will consider you as DEAD so why say goodbye?

What have I missed ??

i spent 16 days visiting family in ohio, and have only checked in on the board briefly during that time.
