yearbook 75 p.223-224 witness couple and their 6 day old cheryl, who needed blood.

"darell and rhoda correctly viewed blood transfusion as a violation of god's law, and thus oposed it.

they were concerned about the babies welfare, for everlasting life is only the prospect of those adhering to god's laws.

Surely a baby is not able to judge good and bad....how can a baby be judged if THE PARENTS give it blood????? Is Jehovah so cruel and merciless to judge a 6 day old baby??

Me on the other had can't even sell candy for my kids school fundraiser's! When my youngest was in the 2nd grade, he came home all excited with his forms and my middle son said "don't give it to mom if you wanna sell anything"

Never had that happen, but maybe you should give it a try. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and it may just work out for you, you never know until you try.

Sorry ninja, but rosalee has been nothing but rude, crude, judgemental.....etc. I tend to treat people the way I'm treated, if you are nasty to me I'm nasty to you!

When she learns to respect other people I'll respect her. I don't expect everyone to agree 100% with anything I say, nor should they expect that from me. But you can't expect to be rude or nasty because the conversation is not what you want to hear (or read). I understand that she may be having doubt, but that does not excuse her from name calling and belittling anyone who does not agree with her JW mind set!

Ninjy and BFD I love both of you guys and you always seem to play fair. And at the risk of loosing your respect for me, I will not be tollerant to people like rosalee! And you will never catch me kissing her ARSE

Searching For JWs/Dr. Laura's Advice (cheating with two topics :P)

often, i find myself doing google searches for people who i went to kh with years and years ago.

i try to find clues of what they're up to, search out the ones who were "weak in their faith", and try to see if they are still hanging on, or have "fallen away from the truth".

i look for people my own age to find out what they're doing.

I know what you mean. I've been out of the cult for 20+ years and I just found JWD 3/07. The last time I stepped foot in a KH was in December 1982! I had no idea that so many people had gone through the same things as I and much more. It's nice to know that you are not alone!
