why bother with fellowship when you can plug everyone into the telephone.. one one hand they are pushing fs, on the other they are making so many changes that several of the elderly are getting depressed, especially ever since the may 1, 2007 qfr.

with the afternoon bs soon yanked, many not allowed to drive at night, and elderships that don't care enough to orchestrate carpools....it is bad..

Well I've been away from all that crap for 20+ years, but from what I'm experiencing with my MIL, they don't give a damn once you are no longer able to go in field service or make every meeting. As a matter of fact no one in that hall will even drop by to say hi let alone bring her a meal or sit with her unless they are being paid.

Trifling bunch of.........I can't stand this religion, rottten from the top to the bottom.

Well I last gave birth almost 20 years ago, but I think anyone in their right mind would go straight to their MD's office or the nearest hospital to be checked out.

being an attendant 'guard' at assy's and feeling that 'goose-bumpy' chill that i was in the vicinity of a gb member.

oh boy...he said "hello brother" to me.

accepting commendation for talks, being told i was a 'good teacher' when all i did was parrot info from the cd rom.. thinking to myself "i can't wait to see the look on the apostates faces, when the big 'a' comes and they see the wrath of jah".

what is milk?

mammal infants require milk from their own species to grow quickly and start solid food.

i know this sounds crazy however being raised a jehovah's witness gave me the tools of respect for my fellow man.

also my parents had a huge role as well,of course.. i just find today there are soo many twisted people who are amused by the sickest of circumstances and pride themselves on belittling people.i mean i am the first to say.

i love funny sarcasm and making fun of the jehovah's witness religion because i believe in my heart its a crazy cult and way out in left field.

It is possible and it's done everyday - people raise moral, decent, loving, giving.......children without religion and especially without the jw's. I personally am NOT glad I was raised as a JW. Everything I am or became happened after I left. I had to struggle to get to where I am today thanks to the JW cult and my JW parents. Although I am not angry I refuse to give them credit for the person I am today.

Had I not been a strong person and determined to make it, I'd probably still be there sucking up to everyone who threatened to shun me if I left. I think it takes a strong personality to get out of that religion at a young age and not hang in for fear of loosing family and friends.

So no, the jw's gave me nothing. I left and I made a life for myself because I refused to let other people think for me, to be submissive to a cult, a man or a way of life.

Anyone had a tooth Implant?

are they as good as they make out, any drawbacks to having one?.

i'm thinking of getting my crown replaced with one but wonder if the 3000 ($6000) is worth it.. .

I was in a auto accident awhile ago and I'm still waiting for the settlement I lost 4 teeth in that accident and I'm in the process of having an implant done on one of them the others you really can't tell so I'm just gonna get a plate done.

But anyway, it's a long process and even longer if you have bone loss because they have to do a bone graft to build it up. So yeah, I think it's worth it, very expensive and long process but worth it. I'll let you know how I make out. Right now I've had the bone graft and it will be another 9 - 12 months for that to heal before they can start the process of the implant.

and he does forgive you when you go to your private place sometimes you can't right a wrong,as long as you add the one you wronged and mean it,we pay all sins through death,christ did that for us!

WOW beerose, I'm atheist and I've never even considered raping or killing anyone. As a matter of fact i'm in the business of saving lives. Where ever did you get that notion from? Just because we don't believe in the holy babel and god and jesus and all that stuff, makes us rapists and murderers?

Question on Headship

how does it apply to an unbelieving mate when the ubm is the husband and the female is the jw?.
