these folks were in the circuit work until the Borg caught onto their little game.... poverty my a$$.... they were recruiting for ACN (American Communications Network)...but now they are selling that foul Noni stuff.

I know a lot of people who ponied up the $495.00 with the promises of being free of a 9 to 5 job and being able to pioneer... I only know one elder who is actually pioneering and making ACN his FT job... (that is when he is not playing golf and looking at porn)..but it is on the backs of a lot of R&F dubs who are hardly making back their five hundred bucks...

Who do I have to kill to get an '81 Truth book?

on the site it specifically said "1981".

when i received it the date was 1968, which i already have.

I'm really itching to be able to show others the changes between the two. You'd think the newer one would be more plentiful.

I have one used... it has my name scratched out on the inside cover/edge but otherwise it is completely unmarked/unhighlighted. Copyright pages says Copyright 1968...but then several lines down it says "Revised in 1981." PM me your address. When you get the book, and it is too your liking, all I ask in return is what I asked folks last year when I was clearing out my WT library.. send me a money order to cover cost of the postage and mailer.... not trying to make money, just cover costs.... Snakes () ps...I still have some WT literature...mostly yearbooks,,....but some other 192 page books... and some of the big books.. (insight, proclaimers, etc)..... otherwise I am still planning on burning them.... lol

I have all the ingredients now to bake some nice wheat bread... because of the whole wheat flour, the recipe calls for "dough conditioners"...I couldnt find it as a stand alone product, but there were alternatives listed and I found some at the grocery and some at the health food store.

The recipeie calls for small amounts of lecithin, citric acid, vital wheat glutin, and ginger as the components of the dough conditioner....... but the lecithin was sold in a big canister for about $20....I only needed 1/2 teaspoon... so for now I am going to forgo it and just use the other 3 ingredients... everything else I could buy in small quantity... but I love fresh homemade bread without all the unpronouncable ingredients and HFCs. ...and I wont be using a bread machine...all by hand.... I could use the stress relief.

Maybe I will do that later on today...I also have a hankering for either chocolate chip cookies..... (I have some Ghiradelli 60% baking choc I could use...) or a raspberry cheesecake.......... I hate buying the premade crap......

However....motivation is a serious problem for me right now....

Here at JWD did I have the most crap New Years? Can you beat it!

worked nightshift so woke at 2pm and went out to buy some beer and scotch and a cigar to smoke for the first time!

realized my wife had taken my credit card so went home...didn't have time to buy a cigar..damn!

6.30pm had a polish beer and started the barbie.

tried to post this at JWN..got the 500 error... looks like there are still gremlins in the system.... glad JWD is still up and running...

I had a boring New Years Eve.... me and the cat at home last night... I made a basic not fancy dinner...didnt even drink any alcohol..just wasnt in the mood for it.

I had CNN on mute until about 5 min until midnight eastern (and then again central my time zone)..but could Kathy Griffith and Anderson Cooper be any more obnoxious?

I stayed up finishing a big fat book (5th of the Earth Children series).... listened to some idiots in my 'hood shooting guns off.... went to bed shortly after midnight..

last year I was a volunteer at the local First Night celebration at the community college I attend... it was alright...young kids looked like they had fun...but I was bored most of the time.....I got assigned to 2 boring venues....... I should have went to the St, Louis version this year...it is always entertaining I hear... but I didnt feel like fighting traffic (and the local light rail service has service cut backs..and were not running past midnight..not even for special events.,.... no wonder the system is broke)..and I really didnt feel like going alone.....

I didnt do anything this year. Last year I volunteered to work the local First Night celebration at the community college.... nice for what it was I guess, but I was kinda bored....it was great for the younger kids esp......but lame compared to the one in St. Louis... and to answer your topic question... I had doubts pre-generation change.... but buried it after getting chewed out for mentioning it..

starting in the mid 2000s (maybe 04 or 05) I started researching on the net and lurking here... I was deleted as a elder in dec 06.... changed congos with the intent of fading (a term I first learned here) and quit going sept 07. registered here in feb 07.. and spend entirely too much time here...

First "Big Meeting" for our hall was tonight

so we hadour first big meeting tonigh ( bookstudy, ministry school and service meeting ) here are my observations:.

1) even though it is the same amount of time, it seemed verrrrry long.

2) it seemed like a circus.....too many parts that did not relate to the others....seemed like a crossword puzzel with 6 different languages.

awww...now you know their secret!... when I was an elder, and I had a Q&A service meeting part, or TMS Q&A part that I knew was going to be low participation because it was so repetitive and/or boring, I often seeded the audience with prearranged comments. Difference was that I often tried to get the little kids (pre teen) who were thrilled to be included... and the elderly.... who were amazed any of the elders bothered to pay attention to them. Esp the little kids..you could see them sit on the edge of their seats ......

and believe me...even if there were other hands up, if the little kids had theirs up... I called on them....

tried to make the meetings fun..... (I once had a 8 foot step ladder for a part...... another story... maybe already told here in the past). The last meetings I attended over a year ago were boring as hell..and the parts I was assigned there wasnt much I could do to make them interesting...other than to shorten them as much as possible.....

...why is the Borg doing this? They are cutting their own throats. Kinda like eating their seed corn.... if the kids arent doing anything, where will the growth be?

....oooHHHHHH ....THERE WONT BE ANY MORE GROWTH..... yee haaaa!
