you've been looking hard for errors in the nwt.
here's one for you: john 14:14. the nwt says: "if you ask anything in my name, i will do it.
" the w&h text (as given in the interlinear) says: "if you ask me anything in my name, i will do it.".
I have an error, check out Malachi 4:2
The WT have replaced the word 'sun' with 'son'. The verse should read:
"But for you who fear my name shall the SUN of righteousness arise with healing in HIS wings"

but i have just had a call from a jw telling me that march 15th o7 page 7 says"christs coming how will it effect you????".
have they changed the thoughts on christ already came????

i received good news from my daughter, it was amazing to her, but she informed me that she met an old friend from a congregations we attended 10 years ago, and the upshot was that the friends partents no longer attended meetings.
he her dad had been an elder the last i talked with him, he had left the congregation we were in due to the attitude of other elders there, went to a new congregation and the last i heard was very happy there.
we had had conversations about various aspects of the supposed truth and he always tried to counsel me about the troooth as spouted by the pharasies then.
By all means post what you think, I have nothing against that, I was referring to HappyDad since he said that the 'non believers' hijacked this thread. Whats the point of a discussion forum if everybody conformed to just one view?

ok, i apologize for this impromptu introduction/rant, but i am reeling right now and really have no where elso to turn.. let me start off by giving you a little history of what has gotten me to this point.

It's not often that I have the patience to read a long post all the way through, but your thread read well and in parts was quite humorous. Counting on the fingers of one hand with most fingers missing was classic.
The Society can be a real pain in the ass, can't it? Once it becomes a part of you, it will spread like a virus towards other people you know - soon enough, everybody is contaminated which leaves the leaving process extremely difficult.
Having a kid in the situation makes it tons worse.
The Witnesses claim to be a loving bunch of people, but in reality, they are a nasty bunch of gossipers. When I left, after about ten months, I watched from the window as they tried to call me (they only attempted a couple of times) and then, since they thought I was not in, I heard them congregate outside and gossip about my business. I mean, it was really obvious. You should have seen their faces when I slammed the window shut.
There isn't a lot of advice that I could give you in this situation. I am so pleased you have discovered the truth about the WT and have read CoC. You have more power over this situation and these people than you may think. As a former Dub, you have the ability to know what they are thinking and about to say before they actually say it. You have been there, you know how their brains work (or not). Use this skill to your advantage.
The kid is still young; you can turn her to the good side still. Do it subtly, dropping doubts into conversations. WT mind control goes a long way, but it can be broken, we can all testify to that.

i have the epson stylus photo rx620 and it is probably the worst piece of crap printer i have ever owned!
the problem is with the print heads.
they get clogged but cannot be removed!
Epson printers are notoriously crap. I have used several in the past, each one of them clonking out after 6 months. Useless junk!
I own a Cannon IP3000 now, bloody brilliant printer. 4 Cartridges cost me just under 10 bucks. So economical, fast, low price... excellent image quality. You may not be able to get hold of the IP3000 now, but the IP4000 is available and is a step up from the 3000. Upgrade to Cannon, you will not regret it.

Well I can honestly say that my experience with the Witnesses had absolutely NOTHING to do with my decision to ditch God.
