" World conditions" omg is he serious? Sure we have Islamic terrorists and political problems but world conditions today are more superior than our past years. I once asked a jw which time period would they prefer to live in? I asked them would they like to live in the 15th, 18th century or todays world. That jw responded with today's world, well world Conditions are not that bad are they đ.
Then he went on about homosexuality being accepted I then again said historically we have has periods of rife homosexuality eg the ancient Greeks. So how is this any worse? ( not that I believe homosexuality is wrong)
These people have serious mental illnesses and like to blame everything on world conditions and love believing a fairytale that it will all magically dissappear and they will instantly be happy. Deluded..

Extreme rules on Dating â is this for all congregations?
by Bonnie_Clyde injust found out that in the congregation we used to attend there are two young brothers, both are sons of elders and recently engaged to girls in neighboring congregations.
instructions are that they may not sit together at assemblies or meetings.
but get thisâŚ.they canât even ride in the same car even if their parents are also in the car.

I had that same experience. Although I was allowed to sit next to my boyfriend I was not allowed to call him my boyfriend, kiss him till our wedding night, nor was I allowed to stay at his parents house for dinner past 9 pm, or look at my fiancee as if I wanted to have sex with him. he was not allowed to kiss me when we had our engagement, and the night before our wedding when we had to go to the wedding reception to finalise details I had to sit in the back of the car while he drove because we had no available chaperones. we were chaperoned heavily ( which had made me lie on many occasions so we could have alone time, oh and we never had sex during those times, I was a good jw) I then was told to not kiss on my wedding video so I wouldnt bring shame on "Jehovah" and our worldly relatives would see how clean we are.
I disobeyed all of those rules.
I am very happy with my partner. We are best friends and have left the jw's together. In the end we won..

Honestly the medical staff already do euthanasia, it's just not mentioned or technically legal. When someone is terminally I'll and are in pain and nearing death a overdose of morphine Is usually administered. đ
Euthanasia for a terminally ill child or adult is merciful, comparing it to suicide is wrong and comparing it to someone denying medical treatment is even worse. Watchtower encourages suicides on people who could be saved, euthanasia is a merciful act for someone who has no hope and is dying painfully.

I need to know more on why its a problem for me dating a JW girl.
by seekinghelpp inok not to throw no shade or no disrespect to the jw religion.
which i truly do respect because my girlfriend is part of but i just don't understand, i have researched so much about it.
so much about how its discouraged for her to be with me just cause of different religion.

Ps.
The Jehovahs witness cult doesn't deserve an ounce of respect.. It mandates shunning of all ex members including family. There is no way to leave it without major consequences. It's a evil disgusting cult.

I am a inactive Jehovahs witness and I hate the religion I was born into.. She will be shunned for being with a worldly guy. Jehovahs witnesses believe that all non Jehovahs witnesses are part of Satan's world. Either you convert, or she will lose her entire family and friends. I suggest you make a ultimatum to her, that she is happy to be your girlfriend and regardless and will not force you to change. Even If she remains with you and gets disfellowshipped and you marry and she returns to the jw cult you will have tumultuous relationship. Jehovahs witnesses do not respect non believers and it's always their way, your way will be considered satanic. You will have fights over holidays, medical treatments and social associates and many more etc...

Can an atheist date jw?
by concernCitizen inhey everyone!.
first of all, i'm not a jw, in fact i'm an atheist, or if you really want to be technical about it i'm probably something like an agnostic atheist or something.. but, my girlfriend is a jw, she seems very rational about it though, it seems to me that she believes in a lot of it but not exactly all, for instance she does understands and believes in the scientific age of the earth and evolution.. when we started dating almost a year ago she made it clear she as religious person.
i never saw that as a problem, it's not like i'm trying to convert her or she's trying to convert me.

Roberto Avon is extremely lucky.
If a jw ends up marrying a non believer the family unit usually suffers. For example the non believer wants to hold a birthday party for their kids, the jw mate is to refuse to be involved and protest against it. Usually the kids are used as pawns. Eg the jw partner will tell the kids that Jehovah hates birthdays, etc. The kid then feels obliged to please Jehovah because they don't want to be killed.
If your girlfriend still believes in it, even just a smidgeon of it, you are in for a very troubled union.
If She secretly tells you its all Bullshit and is just in it for family then you will have a good chance of a normal life. Even then she will still have worry about being dobbed in for celebrating birthdays, Christmas etc etc. Once baptised you are always tied to their policies, regardless of them being inactive.
It's a cult and once in you can't leave without harsh consequences.

Why JW's Rave So Much About Conventions
by freemindfade in"it was so beautiful, we are truly blessed!
now, they also plaster these affirmations all over social media, "this is the best life", âso blessedâ, âbest conventionâ.. why the gushing?
have you ever heard anyone say, âmmmm it was okâ?
-
honest
Because it is such a bore they have to embellish it to make it sound like a fabulous party. If you repeat it you might believe it. "It was the best ever convention" play that on repeat and you'll end believing your own Bs.
