  As A Witness Did You Believe That Jesus Was Your Mediator??

  when you were a witness did any of you know that the society actually teaches that jesus is not your mediator unless you are one of the 144,000??

  Reasons its a cult...

  hey folks,.

  was just on the phone with a friend of mine who is a jw, and we were talking about something and then cults came up.

  anyways, i wont type our convo, but i remember looking at a post where someone had 14 examples of what defines a cult, i looked high and low and cannot find that list, so im hoping someone has it and can post it for me.

  Inspired? Spirit Guided?

  my fathers arguement is always that the fds is not inspired so their humanity causes them to get things wrong.

  they are merely spirit directed.

  i realized a main flaw in this arguement last night.

  My wife has finally seen the light.

  for 18 months i have been at loggerheads with my wife over the wts.

  she has been the perfect watchtower slave even declaring that she'll never leave the truth.

  i decided not to interfere in her life, attacking the society, and the idiots in the hall, but recently things have changed for the best.

  Congratulations.

  She's not my wife but she has been getting headaches and stomach aches this usually tends to be on the nights when she is due to attend a meeting/book study.

  Please tell me I'm getting through to her ,I need the encouragement.

  however,there is another possible meaning to this verse.it may be prophetic,for never has a woman given jehovah perfect obedience.. since women have never given perfect obedience to jehovah are they then qualified to 'help others obey what the bible teaches'?

  Just to put the record straight its not a trick question.

  I am in the process of trying to get someone who is just 20years old see the ways of the JW organisation.This happens to be somebody I deeply care about.The fact is Im not well versed with the Bible as Im not a Christian myself.

  I would appreciate it if the people here would help me in my endeavour.
