I highly doubt he met up with some golfing buddies to go get some of his stuff and didn't know they had guns...and that the stuff was paid for. He knew the guy who had the memorabelia. What ever happened to PHONING before breaking in? He is the definition of a psychopath. No conscience and believes he can pull the wool over the whole world.

Near Death & OUt of Body Experiences - Created In the Lab
by Seeker4 inwe've had these discussions here before, and here's more evidence that these are simply experiences created in the brain.. here's the link: http://www.slate.com/id/2172694/?gt1=10346.
the evidence continues to mount that this world is all there is.
it's plenty for me, i tell ya!.

This experiment is not an obe experiment, but more of an "I smell an onion, do YOU smell an onion?" experiment. These people are not traveling across the universe and getting verifiable information as in the experiences I have read about. OBE's as in NDE's seem to prove that our consciousness is not contained within our physical brain.

I waited quite a few years before posting, but the thoughts that were posted when I was coming out meant the world to me. I feel close to people I may never meet, but I am glad I have started the ball rolling. Lots of post ideas, but I really have to be around to see what happens after I type it up...this is the major problem for starting a post for me.

Is Half The 'Disciple Making Work' A Hoax?
by metatron in17 yearts ago, it took 3,624,773 publishers to generate 263,855 baptisms (1990 yrbk).
however, last year it took 6,491,775 publishers to get 248,327 baptised!
exactly what work were those spare 3 million publishers.

Nobody listening or reacting is the WTs que for the deadpan response of another sign of the times...just the fulfillment of prophecy that the world is ever closer to the end. Meetings and service are to keep the R & F busy. Very interesting about such a low increase within the past nine years...too bad the yearly report doesn't give the number who left that year.

Favorite saying after I left: WAKE UP AND SMELL THE INTERNET. Wish I had gone on much sooner. To know that I was not alone...priceless.

Do you have all the friends you want to have?
by JH ini'm not talking about internet friends, but friends close by in your town.. so, do you have as many friends as you would like to have?.
when i was young and going to school, i had a few friends, but now i don't have any friends, but on the other hand, i'm a loner and i don't really care.
i'm not really searching for friends.

I know that I am making the mistake of putting all my eggs in one basket with one fabulous friend but...I love being alone...I always get my jokes.

Why did you get married?
by pratt1 inas a young dub in the 80's me along with many of my friends got married, either in our teens or early 20's.. in my area, if you were over 25 and not married, it was percieved that something was wrong with you or you were probably engaging in sex with a "worldly" person.. by why did so many of us feel the need to get married so young?.
i believe it was because of one of three reasons.. 1. you wanted to get out of your parets home.. 2. you had already gone "too far" with you girlfriend or boyfriend.. 3. you were just an average normal teenager and you knew this was the only way you could legally have sex.. .
was this true in your area?.

Baptised a month, I was told if I broke it off in the days of the Isrealites I would be killed, and bombarded with scriptures such as "let your yes mean yes...two are better than one...I felt like the virgin at the edge of the volcano, but nobody told me I could put a stop to it without losing my relationship with god and the congregation so...peer pressure in the most unusual way.

What's your take on "stumbling"...
by Frequent_Fader_Miles inthe phrase "cause for stumbling" often left me bewildered.
tell you what to do counsel you and impose their own opinions on you.
maybe i did something in the past that "stumbled" someone, but aren't we all able to make our own decisions when it comes to conduct and choices ... at least we should be, especially if it isn't regarding something inherently wrong.

Talk about being authentic, the night my husband became an elder he told me on the ride home that he was approached by another elder in the congregation who said that as the wife of an elder I now needed to do something with my hair, tuck my shirt into my skirt, not wear colored nylons...and if I needed any advice about how to look like an elder's wife, that his wife would make herself available for me. I must have been stumbling people left and right before that night! Some scripture in the Psalms says that for the righteous one there is no stumbling block.
