  when i was in the "truth" all the wts dates just were part of my everday thinking.

  now that i have deprogrammed myself i can clearly see that i was part of an evil cult.

  just thinking about those stinking dates makes me want to vomit.

  "MARKED" as undesireable association because of college

  "i" who was marked as someone bad to associate with simply because i wanted to make enough to support my family and the approved professions (which our congregation was already saturated with) of window washers, carpet cleaners, janitorial services, and siding and window replacement workers did not appeal to me.

  No matter what church or temple you go to- people will be people (Mad Translation:Everyone is screwed up- just in different ways)...

  So, if you focus on the King & his Father- their opinions will matter very little- if at all- to you! I openly tell them, for example, not to use ANY presentation at the doors- just a brief intro, then ask the neighbor's opinion on a Bible Topic! They always look at me like I'm a borderline Apostate...ASK me if I care!

  It's only our Maker & His Son that counts!

  Is Atheism/Evolutionism Dangerous? Questions for Unbelievers

  does the belief that there is no all-loving diety in which to be accountable to make it easier or harder to treat and judge others they way that you want to be treated and judged?.

  since evolution supposes that life and ultimately man who is at the top of the chain got here through a process of the fittest dominating and killing off the weaker, and since most modern evolutionists in democracies no longer think that this is good to practice, how do you deal with the fact that you are a living contradiction of your own belief since you pronounce the same thing both good and bad?

  the bible says that the truth will liberate you or set you free.. the watchtower applies this to their religion as if their "truth" sets people free.. if that's the case, how were you set free when you became a jw?.

  Or I should wait until a Perfect Brotherhood arises?

  They make mistakes just like 1st century christians did.

  when i'm discussing problems i have with the wts with my family they often say well they make mistakes just like the early christians did, they are not perfect.. i try to argue that if you think that way you can go to any christian church and say the same.

  but usually they say that compared to other religions the wts makes less mistakes so you should go there.. i know that such reasoning doesn't make sense to me but what is a good response to this?.

  You got it! Paul was reproving some for saying there was no resurrection, and others for worshipping angels, for example. If you need me to look up the references, I will be glad to- but it sounds like you need to open the Bible more. 1st & 2nd Corinthians. Also, Revelation starts off with Christ commending some congregations- and condemning others for variuous teachings & conduct!

  A vs E is a result of the ridiculous example of the Churches- starting with the Catholic Church that would execute scientists who would reveal truth that confilcted with church "truth".

  Look at what the churches teach today; that the Earth was created in 6 24-hour days! Tuesday all the dinosaurs popped into existance- then were wiped out Wednesday! Why even GENESIS shows the Earth existed for a long time; it opens describing the Earth as a waste before the Creative Days began- several without the sunlight reaching the Earth to FORM 24-hour days. Then Chapter 2 opens referring to the whole Creative Period as ONE day.

  Now- on the other hand, scientists-seeing the phony religions, sought OTHER possibilities as to the origin of life- ignoring the one word that UTTERLY destroys the theory of evolution- and PROVES Creation: DESIGN!
