by OUTLAW inif i went back to the kingdom hall there would be no windows..lol!
!..and..many doctrines,i could no longer preach.i would be reprimanded,reproved or disfellowshipped for it!..doctrines we were told to preach,straight from god,given to us by the wbt$ are no longer valid.the wbt$ says so.......i left in 1974.i couldn`t preach "armageddon by 1975"..most jehovah`s witness`s will tell you wbt$ never made that prediction.although wbt$ liturature says otherwise....."jehovah`s witness will be the only ones who survive armageddon".now,no one knows....."jehovah`s witness`s can`t take blood transfusions".now they can use blood factions....."religion has no place with worldly organizations".the wbt$ had an assosiation with the united nations-ngo..make a big deal about that and you "will" be disfellowshipped!.....

JW'S neither Catholic nor Protestant? WHAT, THEN?
by Terry inthe main split in christianity (between catholics and protestants) is the issue of who tells you what to do and how they tell you.
the catholic church has staked out the "chain of evidence" theory which is sacred tradition.
the church has all authority in faith and morals.. protestants (since martin luther) cling to the assertion that the bible alone can give instruction directly, or; sola scriptura.

Truth.......Embellishments......or Lies???
by enlightenedcynic init seems to me that a large majority of jw's believe that this is god's organization because they read all those experiences that are related in the watchtower mags and in the yearbooks, and then conclude that those could not have taken place without divine intervention.
not to mention all of the experiences that are related at assembly programs and district conventions.
are the experiences true?

Enlighten- anyone who relies on such things as "proof" are merely church-goers. I'm a JW who HATES ASSemblies, because there are no more speakers- just readers, reading the generic "Benefit More Fully" talks from HQ. However, the experiences I've always enjoyed- because we are an honest people. I've known many that gave their experiences- and know of nothing left out- or encouraged to leave out.
The experiences are just to encourage; to show that a LOT of good can be accomplished- if you just TRY!

It should be noted that the ONLY basis the scriptures give to DF- is to remove an EVIL one. Not any other reason!
You must remember that even tho the scriptures show believers ALWAYS work together, there are no specific instructions given as to HOW they were to do so- after all, every society and culture has different circumstances, laws of the land, and customs.
Thus, when we, as JWs, formed, we had to figure out what would work for ourselves- as ANY group has to. So there WILL be rules not specified in the Bible, but based on Bible principles.....the vast majority of the time!
Remember, tho, there is NO SUCH THING as an organization of people that is without flaw- so ALWAYS focus on Christ and his God & Father, rather than people!
