Did You Know or Know Of "Gay" or Bisexual JWs???

recently, a former witness expressed his opinion to me that he knew more than a few witnesses that were gay.personally, i know of a bisexual ex-elder who was unhappily married for a few years.

now he's "out", pardon the pun, of the organization.

i know of a newly appointed ms who is married to a sister but most people suspect he is gay.

Effemenancy and being gay aren't linked... but lets not leave our effeminate brothers... and "sisters" for that matter out of it as there's nothing wrong with being swishy. Like all mannerisms, masculine, feminine, and effeminate- it is all a matter of how one relates to their environment, deal with stress, and wields their energy. And there's power in that that most people, straight or gay, cannot understand.

But yes I know of some effeminate brothers too- one who had a very effeminate voice and whenever he gave talks, I don't care how liberal or progressive or fairminded you were or how much you liked or loved the guy, you couldn't help but wonder if he was gay. It couldn't have crossed your mind- unless you were his mother and you were just blind to it or something. Has a wife with some kids as well, thougt that doesn't mean he's straight but his voice doesn't mean he's gay either.

And I know of a particular brother at my hall that is very effeminate and people just tend to ignore it, however, I, even my gay ass was enoying looking at some girls in passing one day who were hella hot and he just couldn't catch on... and it made him very unomfortable, sometimes like I am if I'm not attracted to a girl yet everybody around me is. Like I'm missing it- and I wasn't even "testing" the guy, he just couldn't catch on.

Hmm, I should cause a HOT GAY JW SCANDAL with him now that i think about it... behind the damn book counter and ontop of the latest Awake magazines. Yep. I should.

todays watchtower/marriage counselors

today at the watchtower study,they said that marriage counselors encourage folks who are having issues to divorce..is that the stupidist thing that youve ever heard?

like,how many of them have gone to marriage counseling lately?.also the thing about the man being the head,the decision maker,that aint'jus' aint'a settin' right w/me...so,i assume if i get reinstated,i cant be an elder?like,because i dont have a penis?..um,hello,its 2007!!

LOL! I remember one analogy an CO made about like mariage being liken to a road trip... and that SOMEBODY has to be the drivee. And that's all marriage was. And that women should appreciate how hard it is and be lucky they are not the ones responsible for driving everybody. CUZ ITS SO HARDZ. And the women and men in the congregation ate it up so fast, I swear. Like a bowl of potato salad at a gathering, I swear, the smiles and giggles and head nods everybody gave... like you can make any analogy on the platform and they will buy it.

Like you can pay bills, take care of a home, have time for sex, manage kids, and deal with each others bullshit- thats liken to a car ride?

And besides, anybody knows on any damn road trip, unless your ass doesn't have a liscence, you WILL be driving eventualy beause the other person is going to get some sleep eventually...

Why There Will Always Be JWs

i think it's pretty simple.

jws will never completely die out.

because there are always going to be people who stay in a rut, don't like to adjust, are lazy.

Personally, I don't think they will ever die out. the people who will finally wake up to it will be in it for so long, leaving it will seem insane. And there will be new people, future generations shedding "new light" into bible teachins that will keep it going. And as long as there are people in lower economic backgrounds who are downtrodden and looking for some purpose of life and for people to belong to in a society that values the individual pursuit while ignoring that some people don't have any other pursuit or goat but to survive....

Sorry, long ass run on. I don't think they will die, but like everything else in this world they will change and evolve, possibly even branch off into another group. Die off, Hells nah. Unless one memorial comes and everybody is instructed to pass and take a sip of the new liquid that represents Jesus christ blood... you know some super special red kool-aid... then maybe they will. Maybe...

for instance, one sister was speaking of her disgust with her children not accepting the "truth".

she gladly tells anyone of what she told them; that if they don't accept it before armageddon that it's too bad.

I'm just glad R.F. came up with this thread because you know the stuff is bat sh*tcrazy yet its so common that you think its normal. Like I know when I hear these comments, it catches me off guard, but I then start changing my thinking to fit theirs. Like it makes sense. "Well, yeah if he is dead, then he will make it into the new system" or "Aww, my mom won't even remember me if I'm not in the new SystemZ!! It'll be like I never existeded!!"

trust me, I've seen the pictures of the new system... after a while, I don't give a damn who you are playing with bears and cobras, hanging with people from different ethnicities, and wearing clothes from the 1950's is gonna get old. Like the first 100 years okay, yippee. But after that?

I would run around effin' naked anyways... and then get in trouble so it'd be better if I wasn't there.

You know I have heard comments like these a many of times.

I rmember when one sister said that she was glad when a family member of hers died, that now "he would have a chance to make it in the new system" or something. Weird, so he's beter off dead? Like Jehovah didn't know he was off smoking crack and doing whatever he wanted (like a smart person... okay 'except for the crack part) so he's going to let him in the new system 'cause he's dead and there will be "resurrection of unrighteous ones!!!one111" Puh-leeze.

Hell, my mother got pissed off one time after one of those talks about the "Youth Praising Jehover" (the brother who gave the talk always said 'Jehover', and I've decided to name my first pet that) and she always gets mad and depressed after those talk since she feels like the worst mother ever. So on the drive home she was in another rage going off about how she woill be okay in the new system without me and my sister, who was about 7 at the time, because Jehovah would take way the pain of losing and that she'd have more kids to replace us like he did with Job. LOLZ!

And you know what else I really don't understand about this attitude? When someone dies its like this JW thing about not grieving- like you aren't suppose to cry or show much feeling because it shows your faith. You are allowed to shed a tear, but you aren't allowed to sob because it somehow shows the lack of faith you have in jehover?

I really never understood that shit and hearing people talk about other people who lost members not being spiritaully strong makes me wanna backhand them all.

Dear Brothers:

I have chosen to disassociate myself because for years i have been battling a Gay demon that has finally gotten the better of me. I tried years to fight it but I have been living a lie.

At meetings with Jehovahs wonderful nonjudgemental people, i would just wait for someone in front of me to raise their hand and comment so Brother Nice Ass could walk by me... (by the way can you ask him if he's seen a silk black tie of mine? I think I left it on his bedpost one day after field service...)

It was me who had redecorated the back study hall because anyone with a brain knows that those books should be color-coordinated, and not chronological. Really!

And i told every I was going to buy a van for my first car- for the preaching work, but the GAY DEMON overpowered me and I bought a subaru. A yellow subaru!

Do not think I have not tried to battle this demon of mine, but when I was away from the hall, I would listen to Madonna all day long. In my tank top and cut off jeans. You should be warened that I may be lost to Jeyhovah and his organization. Please stay far away for me because i fear what this demon will make me do with other men such as yourselves. If you were to even come on my front porch I fear that you may catch a case of butt secks since i can no longer control myself- even the mailman has to carry mase now to keep me away.

I will miss you all and i know you will miss me since no one else will be able to carry a tune when it is time to sing during the meeting. Well except Brother Nice Ass, as I have made him reach pitches and notes that not even his wife has heard before. Farewell!

Out of the Family...

literally and figuratively.... if you don't know my story, its the basic "i'm gay and from a family of jws" and lately it hasn't been going well.

i'm still saving up to move out, but that "meeting" i was suppose to have with the elders is scheduled tonight.

it was scheduled tuesday night but i dodged that bitch hard.

The suicidal feelings are starting to pass, its just that this morning I didn't know what I was doing- like my driving all day was just sluggish and uncontrollable- like I was just tempting myself you know? People rarely think of accidents as suicide, or at least in my mind they don't or you don't hear about it much. I was just out of it. My heads just all over right now, but hearing all of your comments are making me feel better.

I really am gonna seek out some support, for real this time instead of just waiting to gather the courage to tell my friends and expect them to be my support when they'll have to go through something just as similar as my family is. And I'm glad I'm not alone, sometimes its so easy to get into that mindset, like this is personal and its just me when a lot of us have been there in one way or another. Whether its dealing with their sexuality, shunning, depression, and/or suicidal thoughts.

I remember years ago, comments that were made about 'postates. It was somethign to the effect of, "If you leave Jehovah's organization, then why must you go online in order to 'gnash your teeth' together? If you weren't happy then be happy now and move on- thats how you know they are being used by Satan!!!one111" And I used to agree, I would wonder, why all these people online were gathered to bash witnesses who, still even after my feelings and experiences, are not bad people. It didn't make sense to me.

Then I realize we all had/have to go through this death or loss of something that others can't related to exactly unless they've been a witness. Like how many baptist or Catholics do you know who after renouncing their faith just lose their families? Shitted upon yes, but LOSE them. Feel worthless or lost or cast aside... And I finally get why people are here all the time- to manage those feelings of pain and anger and loss when most people do not understand the Jw/Ex JW experience. Just wanted to share that because it was a slow process in understanding that. before i would just come and join in on the JW bashing at times 'cause I just needed to vent, but now I see why folks knkow folks on this board the way they do and how helpful everyone is because we all 'get' it in some way.
