  JWs are having a tough time

  yesterday i made a post that discussed some common argumentation methods that jws use to defend their religion and why they are faulty.

  you can read that post here.

  in that post i mentioned how jws live in a system that encourages, rewards, and praises people for using poor thinking methods.

  I think the problem is that JWs and MORMONs are both taught that the RIGHT candidate will have the RIGHT heart condition and will just LISTEN and NOT debate...so when debate begins, they KNOW they have found a dead end and its time to move on.

  Yeah I've heard and was taught this when out in field service that whenever someone wanted to argue, just move on because they were "being used by satan" and were evil, and that you could be geting the message to somebody who would listen. That's why I do not even know how to approach my witnoid relatives because I know that there minds aren't even 'open' to debate because they have their whole mentality set into it. But then again who didn't?

  It's difficult, but they aren't willing to listen mainly to those reasons listed above; they made up their minds about your argument before they have any real backing to discredit or counter it. You are just 'evil/wicked' and that is it.

  in this world there is a title, a title that makes people upset to hear mentioned.

  yet more often then not, it simply fits.

  the title is jerk, or basically someone that is a complete ass and not someone who is being nice or a good person.

  A double life in general? Eh, probably a lot as 'double life' encompasses a multitude of other things. Being gay/homosexual/bisexual/LGBTIQXYZ?

  ... I wish you guys would show some class and leave him alone! He's in a position that he does not want to be in!

  I know Jehovah and we've been having an affair for about a year or two now...

  You see he's having a hard time coming out and he's on this board because he doesn't know how to come out in the WTBS because the Governing Body won't let him. They said that they would take his name of the the magaizines and he'd lose is job as ALmighty God if he told the truth- do you have any idea how scary that is to be kicked off of your own religion because your gay? And be the God of that religion? Who are you to judge him! No one thats who for you are dust!

  SO STOP BEING MEAN TO HIM! He's a lovely person.... okay he's batsh*T crazy and dont get ol' girl drinking 'cause he will smite you if you look at him funny and make sure your first born drops dead on spot...

  But we all have our issues and things to work on. So even if Jehovah/Nvr is lurking let him lurk and deal with his issues in due manner and be a support for him instead of a hinderance.

  I swear sometimes you XJWs can be even worse than the JWs themselves!

  That is some friggin life oppgirl! I swear I feel like I should pull up a chair to your driveway and just watch you live instead of waiting for Desperate Housewives or House to come on.

  when people turn apostate, why do they seem kinda... weird.

  ... don't you love how she has all this information about apostates isquoting witnesses but never shows it. I'd lov to see it. And I wonder if she ever wondered if the WTBs eve misquoted anybody..... oh no! the WTBS actually being wrong! Whatevs. Obviously, she's here for a reason- to prove her own faith and playing in to somebody who din't want to lean because they love taking swigs of the kool-aid cannot be helped. But its strange beause she is still here and when the time comes and she questions the WTBs she'll b back, lurking. So...

  But i did have a question for nimzo... will you tell the elder about being on this board and doing battle witht he evil apostates, You are warned not to ben be here and yet surprise surpris.e Disobeying Jehvahs god. Tis a shame...

  When you hide that really naughty pr0n under the bed and don't care that much anymore...

  When you pick up a watchtower and a highlight, and instead of underliing the answert, you draw pictures ontop of people for giggles.

  When you *have* no choice to go to the meetings (for the family of course) and can't wait to get the hell out becuase one more comment about how great this 'organization' being will make you slap somebody.

  Matter of fact, when you make plans to go out on Tuesdays and thursdays and not feel guilty. When you don't worry about seeing people you know from the hall (I'm getting to that point) seeing you come out of a "questionable movie" or place.

  When you stop giving them power over your life. Hell, im still working on a few of these and hope to be there soon, rel effin soon.

  My sisters wedding...

  Not to get on you as well but...

  I gotta echo what everybdy else said. How are you gonna pay for a wedding and not go to the reception? I understand you don't want to lose your sister and you feel if you play their game you will keep her in your life, trust us we ALL understand that but if she's willing to cut you off now and you are helping her PAY for it in the first place it won't look good in the future anyway. So personally, I suggest two things; go to the reception anyway and dance your a$$ off and buy Elder Douchebag and drink and flirt with him while your there, or cancel it altogether and don't go at al because that is crappy and in my mind if she didn't want you there in the first place she should be WOMAN enough to at least give youback your money or reimburse you if its too late yet that email had nothing in there like that. That is just horrible.

  Girl to to the reception and tear up that dancefloor. Shoot, if your other family members will be there those witnoids dare wont act up 'ause if there is one thing witness love to do it is appear natural and normal in front of others to get that "they aren't so bad after all" look going on. they won't try a damn thing. Write her an email telling her that this is silly, tell her to tell that Edler that you are going or HE is going to have to pay for her wedding. Either one. Dont let them bully you- this is your family and if she wants to shun you thats on thing but don't let her put the situation in the hands of someone else.

  And if you don't go let the family know 'cause there aint no way the rest of your fam should sit there with Elder douche and his clan while there own flesh is out of an important family event because of some stupid rules. Start up the family grapevine and use it appropriately.
