I catch the bus so...
Obviously I'm polyamorous with so many people on my route.
a jw told me today that mazda miatas are the car of choice for gay men, and subarus are very popular among lesbians.
i asked him how many gay and lesbian folks he actually knew, and what the source for his information was.
he admitted that he didn't know any gays or lesbians, but that "a friend who works in an auto shop" had told him.
I catch the bus so...
Obviously I'm polyamorous with so many people on my route.
i never had one growing up, at least not to my knowledge.
none of my kids did either.
did any of your kids?
I slept with one of my imaginary friends, but don't tell anybody 'cause we were young and just experimenting and everybody does it at that age and soon we were comparing and...
Don't Judge me!
We don't talk anymore, sometimes I reach into the back of my mind to see if my ol' friend is there but all I draw is blanks. *sighs* One day you are in the mud and riding big wheels and the next day they are gone...
how would you help them see it's not "the truth"?
God, II'm sorry this is suppose to be serious, huh? I lay on the innuendo too much at times.
I think like the poster MMae had it right by asking them what their questions were instead of throwing them all sorts of places. I mean someone who is like a single mother who isn't feeling the love of the congregation and feels like she is being treated like crap might not give a damn about Rutherford and what not and might just need to know that she's not crazy or that her feelings aren't a sign of her old personality she needs to work on. Eventually all those other things 'could def. be brought up but realize that people leave for different reasons and the answers they find should be different (initially).
But if that does not work, then yes sleep with him.
how would you help them see it's not "the truth"?
Have sex with him.
Oh and um. Give him my copy of C of C.
Sorry about the first part, I'm just desperate and stuff.
awake 2008 jan.p.19 "choosing to play violent and immoral games is like choosing to play with radioactive waste.
the damaging effects may not be immediatley obvious, but they are inevitable.
exposure in high doses of radiation can destroy the lining of the stomach and allow bacteria from the intestines to invade the bloodstream, resulting in sickness.
Oh God, I grew up on Mortal Kombat, and all of its renditions (when MK was the shit). I was in a car group one day and everybody was so shocked how I could enjoy such a wicked game...
I guess they could never understand the joy a little boy can have ripping the heart out of his uncle's character and dancing acros the room in a victory that took about oh.. 3 hours! So yeah. Violence? It rocks!
(And you get Ten Awesome Geek Points if you Know what Move and What character I'm talking about... Mortal Kombat 1)
Hell, it keeps people from actually yanking the hearts out of real people's chests...
if god offered to answer you three questions, what would you ask him?
1. who stole my diary?
2. are there any other earthlike planets in the universe with the purpose of being inhabited by humans?
1. Why is Britney Spears so crazy?
2. Can you give me some money, please?
3. Why does my aunt have that funny smell? What is that funny smell in the first place?
Talks that did not seem historically correct. I mean that goes to show you why it is such an important tool to be educated because if your not, I can see why someone could just sit there and buy everything said, but when I started school and classes, History, Psychology and all that jazz, whenever someone would get on stage and say something that didn't make any sense and was obvious they pulled straight from their behinds, it made me questions things more- that if they could get on stage and say that they could technically say anything. I was alwasy told the speaker wawsn't really saying anythng but was a mouthpiece for Jehovah...
And then it made me realize that Jehovah really needed like a lesson in History 'cause he was wrong. A lot. I mean its one thing to hate the wicked but you should at least know what and when they were being al bad and evil since you plan on kiling them and all. Just sayin'.
tired of the hypocrisy's post got me thinking ... how many jw "kids" over the age when they should have left home still live with their parents.
i say this because i have many of those in my congregation.
fyi it looks real bad to be a older man (ie 25 and up) scrub laying up at home unless you have a outstanding circumstance i.e.
Yeah, i had a Greek friend who couldn't dream of leaving her family's home. she did though... she got an apartment, but guess who owned the place and was only like a block away. So that def. doesn't count imo.
I'm gonna get out soon. Like.... *eats up the food and goes to watch some judge shows* I'm gonna look for a place tomorrow. Geez.
No really. I actually am. shut up!
i recently starting watching the hbo drama "big love" and was wondering.
if anyone here who is a mormon or used to be one or is connected to mormons.
somehow has seen the show, and what you think of it.. .
I Love Big Love! Now that's a really good show.
i don't mean the ones we know about already - things people wouldn't think you did or enjoyed to look at you.. i love watching ray mears extreme survival and learning about how to survive and find food and shelter in extreme climates even though there is a strong possibility that i shall never try and escape naked from a japanese prisoner of war camp, or crash without a flagon of water into the sahara, or come stuck in my ship in a freezing ice plateau in deepest antartica.
.
what's your guilty geeky pleasure?.
Oh god, do you have the time? I am a comic nerd, more into Marvel and I can spin into some others; don't really feel the DC universe but I can pick up an issue here or there and feel them. My special love is for the X-Men. *sighs*
Matter of fact, I have written fanfiction for it (And you get 100 Awesome Geek points if you know what fanfiction *is*) and I still (and by still meaning that since I was a sophomore in high school and am 21) role play X-Men online. My friends and I pick the characters, map out story arcs and write out scenes. We live in our own little effin' world. It's quite sad.
But god I love it. And I actually getting into college basketball and football. It's really weird because I waws a big geek and sports were so not my thing. Maybe 'cause the guys are beefy and hot but now.. the game actually interests me now... *shrugs*
Now I'm gonna have to go out and play it or something... *gets inhaler*
