  I agree, tight jeans on dudes are not cool.

  Fitted jeans, yes, depending on the guy. A "little baggy " jeans is okay too, but " so baggy that is passes your ass" is not cool, although hey for all those gays trapped in the hood, looking at all those homeboys's from the back must be cool. I guess.

  I knew this kid who used to wear tight jeans like that... I told him that I bet his balls haven't seen each other in ages and write letters to one another, reminiscing about the times they've had together....

  i had no doubts at all about the 'truth' untill a friend of mine in the cong' began falling away.

  in trying to help him i had to ask questions and do research and that of course cracked the doors of my mind open for the first time in over thirty years.. years ago, when jwd allowed members to have signatures, i used the following quote from voltaire as mine.

  I had doubts but did not know how to express them. I was always wrong and like a sheep I always thought that if I didn't understand it then I know that the people in Bethel were super Bible-thumping geniuses, plus I was always motivated by selfish inclinations and desires.

  Girls (and Men), College, money, wanting to be involved in track. I was so selfish.

  Then one day I heard them something along the lines of; "The Organization is the ONLY one you should be listening too" and something in that lil' ol sheep I was died.

  because I thought we were only suppose to listen to Jehovah and the bible? And God, why does Brother so-and-so all of a sudden look 'better' than usual?

  Yep, that seed was sown and I should thank that brother so-and-so as it was the best talk ever. I mean I still believed since it takes some time to tear down walls, but that was the First Doubt. And when I think even farther back, i had issues with Lot offering up his daughters to those crazy homoseshuls (Like, WTF? your daughters? and aren't they gay?) and David just rebounding back after the news that his son had passed. I couldn't understand that shit whatsoever.

  What do I want to be?

  I wanted to be a power ranger/pokemon trainer/writer/comedian/porn star.

  But I also wanna be somebody's Dad- I think I'd make an awesome father, which would to me as I didn't really have a really good one, be a dream job . And if I turn out to suck at it ('cause it's a good chance you can screw 'em up too), then I can at least ay I'd make a really hot person... and in the end, isn't that all that matters in the world? Hot people?

  But on the real, right now I'm thinking on becoming a personal trainer and *thiiinking* about getting a degree in Nutrition and making something out of it. I could become a household name, Like Billy Blanks. or Chuck Norris.

  And then I'll make the cover of Muscle and Fitness... *sighs*

  Also working on getting enough time to qualify for being a counselor at a crisis hotline center 'cause I've been there and god there is nothing that gets you out of your own head then being catapulted into someone else's and trying to see the positive and good in the world with them.

  But that's my dream(s) so far!

  What is your experience with a Philosophy class?

  students wandering into a philosophy class are usually hoping to gain some perspectives on, say, the meaning of it all, but then some rumpled guy in mismatched tweeds ambles up to the podium and starts lecturing on the meaning of "meaning.".

  first things first, he says.

  before we answer any questions, big or small, we need to understand what the question itself signifies.

  I really liked my Philosophy class. I remember when I first started it, coming in with my own misconceptions and just wanted to argue with people about my effed up belief system (not even Jw stuff, just beliefs that really when you thoguht hard and got to the bottom of them, had serious issues that I never thought about) but had to sit and listen to the history of... thinking, really. My teach was very much like blueviceroymsaid in that disheveled teacher coming in and really schooling you on how to think.

  I'm gonna take some more classes next semester, primarily Ethics.
