  The underground tunnels at Bethel...

  with all the real estate property going up for sale in brooklyn, it got me thinking about the underground tunnels under some of the properties.

  i remember going through these tunnels on the many times i visited my friends there.

  i don't however, remember which building those tunnels were under.

  it absolutely stunned me that a b0rganization that had been so central to our lives was literally unknown to the attorney who was assiting us with the updating of our will..... three times we had to repeat "watchtower bible and tract society" ...

  i never used to wonder about death, or what comes after, because i had all the answers!

  but now i really wonder, but not with fear....it feels odd, and i am curious.

  this planet and universe are so incredible and complex that to me it defies logic that someone must have had a creative hand it.

  Getting the forum back on track

  recently we seem to have had a few different dramas and subsequent fallout on the fourm which i feel has detracted from its purpose.

  with this in mind we have decided that we need to bring the forum back on track and as such we will be clamping down on a lot of the aggressive / insulting posts which have begun to become the norm for a few people.

  we will also be clamping down on the paranoid assusation type of comments against newbies, if someone joins the fourm and you do not believe everything they post - so what, why do we need to hound them away with shouts of troll and fake etc, just ignore them if you dont beleive them.

  i see allot of people here that is in the know i mean really in the know and am very great full for being in these discussion with you all.

  since this is such a large subject to us all and all have different strong points in it, im sure we can come up with some form of hypothesis when this organization is going to implode on its self or when its about to but before it does it bails last minute by changing some doctrine around so it doesnt completely fall but keep enough for them to survive again for it to rebuild, as theyve done so many times in the past.

  history for some reason tends to always repeat it self, i truly believe its about that time.

  Mormonism?

  SDAism?

  When are they and all the other religions going to "crash"?

  There will always be an audience for absurdity.

  The JW organization offers paradisaic conditions, material prosperity, tame lions and tigers, justice for all, eternal life, love and approval from God Himself, racial harmony, swimming with dolphins, stable family life, clean living, etc.

  There are millions of people around the globe that would love to get in on some of that action.

  It's not a real big deal for me, but it is the type of discrimination that the WTS policies encourage.

  I can relate to your frustration, DT.

  I'd encourage you to keep a positive attitude and seek some other way to make a living.

  You seem to be a determined person.

  That will help you in all aspects of your life.

  As for your campaign, sorry to seem so "down" on it.

  Please allow me to explain my lack of enthusiasm.

  At times when I walked to my work assignment as a Bethelite, some well-intentioned apostates would be on the path, pointing out to us that we were slaves/robots.

  As I was indoctrinated to be resistant to such "attacks" they had no effect on my faith.

  Perhaps they even reinforced the conviction that I was doing the right thing by being there and sacrificing so much.

  Now that I'm deprogrammed, I can look back on the whole thing and laugh at myself for being so stupid.

  Do whatever you must to grieve all that you lost as a result of your involvement with the JW cult.

  But don't spend too long on it.

  Life is short.
