I'm On facebook...Using My real Name...and saying how I feel about the JW's!

hi all just thought i'd share how far i've come in my recovery from the jw's indoctrination...... i have posted on 'facebook' and am having the courage to post exatly what i feel about the stuff i was taught throughout my childhood etc.. i am using my real name which is a big thing for me...and ya know what?

i don't care one bit who see's what i post!

it feels wonderful to be able to express how i feel!.

I'm not worried about the Witnesses either.

However, I was a State's witness against some very bad people in 1975 so its probably best I use an alias on the internet.

i know i am an old fart and a pedant,but things spelled incorrectly stand out, like copy of c.o.c in a kingdom hall library.. i don't think it matters too much say,posting on here,or in life generally,so many people make mistakes,but i do think it detracts from your credibility and your message in important stuff i.e a d.a letter for example,any excuse and dub's will ignore what you say.. so,is it not worth checking?

one word that many on here have a problem with is apostasy,often putting a c where the last s should be.. is having a problem with this word a true example of irony?.

Interesting comment regarding the spelling of the word Apostacy/Apostacy. I googled the word and found Wikipedia the only line of the first three pages to spell it with an S.

And how about the lack of a space after a comma?

Who Do You Trust?

i trust my mother, daughter and a very close friend but not much more than that.. what about you?.

On Cold Snowy Weekends, What Do You Like To Do?

lately, all we get around here is snow!!!!

i'm sick of it.

but at least we have no meetings to attend!.

Is it illegal to operate a snowblower while intoxicated? I even cross the roadway to clear around the mailbox.

My 35th is this year.

I'm on classmates.com and I'm waiting to hear of a reunion. The organizers of my class reunions are on my myspace friends list so I wont miss an announcement.

I did'nt attend previous years reunions because I never recieved an invite. My family had moved to another town following my Junior year so I graduated in a new school system which I spent one year in.
