  They Keep You In By Using Guilt!

  do you realize that the organization keeps you captive through the manipulation of guilt?

  they make you feel guilty because you didn't auxillary pioneer when you knew you could've.. they make you feel bad about yourself for masturbating although they know everyone does it.. they try to make you feel bad because you didn't contribute as much money as you could because you went on vacation....and so forth.. isn't it great to not feel guilt anymore over these things???

  Jehovah will annihilate those governments - even if they protect us?

  this is not new - but it still strikes me as ironic.

  the 12-15-07 wt on page 20 states mentions that, "it may be times be necessary to defend with boldness our scriptural position...by appealing to governments and courts for protection.

  " then 7 paragraphs later it states that jehovah will annihilate all the nations because they are opposed to the messianic kingdom.

  do it (the truth) with your whole heart, soul, mind and body to the absolute extreme of your ability, and there is the slight chance that you won't be crushed like a wicked bug on judgement day.. thanks for attending, see you tuesday at 7:30 and don't be late, the end wont be either..

  hi everyone - i have posted only a couple times here but felt the urge to let loose a little bit today.

  i am 41 years old, and after being brainwashed for the last 35 years, i can no longer continue as a jw - i have not been inside a kingdom hall in over a year, my friends and family have shunned me and i have very few associates outside of "the truth".. now i am not here to cry and feel sorry for myself.

  but i would like to hear from some who are/were in a similar situation.

  30 of my 40 some years on this mortal coil have been spent as a witness.

  once i was old enough to realize the meetings were not a place to play and run around i understood the gravity of my situation.

  "just love jehovah and do his will" i was told.
