a while back on here i heard of some guy that was hugely pissed about the 1975 fiasco.
he dressed up in one of those ancient drama outfits and stormed the stage at a convention screaming, " i'm the faithful and discreet slave!!!!".

by Gregor ini learned an interesting fact from my father's doctor when he was being treated for a stroke.
mom had mentioned that even though dad couldn't speak well enough to ask for a glass of water he could clearly say, "goddammit".
the dr. explained that epithets are from a different part of the brain and this area had not been affected by the stroke.. i found this very interesting.

I always tried hard for Jopervo not to swear... then I stopped believing and I try to fit in with my fellow humans rather than alienate myself from them, so I say f*** in at least every third sentence.... of course depending on who I'm with. Thanks to my brain developing without the word, I am able to turn it on or off with a thought.

For mother's out there...cleaning a son's bedroom!
by restrangled inmy son is twenty years old, a good kid, is doing great in college so i usually keep the door closed to his bedroom so i don't have to look.
today he took out a huge batch of laundry for me to do and the odor from that bedroom had me reeling.. here is my humorous but deadly serious post on the matter:!!!!!.
after vacuuming, enough dust to fill the entire dust bin in the vacuum.. enough change on the floor to keep him in fast food for a week.....(don't ask me for money).

I make myself barf remember how "sincere" a JW I was, although I never got baptised, only unbaptised publisher, I never did anything wrong, I never drank anything for fear I might get drunk and "Bring reproach on human-sexuality obsessed Jepervert", never considered doing drugs, I tried really hard not to swear, every time I jerked off I felt like I was killing myself and being evil. etc etc etc. So yeah I took it seriously until the day I decided to quit. There was no fade, thats the way things work in my head, like light switches.

20 years and still answering to mommy and daddy
No, you don't get it. I haven't been to a meeting since January. I'm out of the JWs, I'm just going because it will be fun to be drunk at one of those boring pieces of garbage. My parents don't force me to go to meetings or anything. Actually I moved out for a couple months in Feb and March so they'd get the idea.

I locked the suitcase so my parents cant go through it, no JWs will suspect water bottles full of fruit punch!!! I've got enough alcohol to stay stone drunk all day long! And I'll need it to stay sane. I'll let you all know how it goes! The congregations I know will be at this one, so everyone will be meeting me drunk!!! AHAHAHAHA. This is going to be so f***ing awesome! I told my parents Im going to be sitting on the opposite side of the stadium from them. I might break down and start laughing histerically, so the Gestapa (aka Attendants) may kick me out. I decided to put my real name and congregation on the lapel card because this is the assembly with all the congregations I know
